Kim's Kreations Tailor & Bridal - She clearly ripped the dress when she removed the old zipper and obviously couldn't be bothered to even color match the thread.

I think I have met an angel and her name is Kim. I have taken many garments to her over the years…read moreto hem or alterations. Believe me, she's reasonable, and very good at what she does. I have read the other reviews, and when they are negative, part of the problem is the language barrier. Her English is broken, so I am sure it's frustrating for her and the customer. Please be patient. She is a staunch Catholic, and she donates the funds from her dresses to a Southeast Asian Relief Association. They give to lepers, children with disabilities, orphans, and others in need. They are struggling financially, so Kim is making big efforts to financially help out these people. I am more than happy to purchase her beautifully well-made dresses for her to donate to the cause. It makes her really happy. And I will continue to go to her for her excellent work.

I have really struggled with how to write this review, because I'm so shocked at the level of…read morecrappy work I just paid for that it's hard to put it into words. So I'll just include photos of what was done. I asked for a zipper to be replaced on a vintage 1960s Prairie dress. I sell vintage clothing, and this one is worth a lot. It's a rare and special find for me. I dropped it off and when it was time to pick it up, she didn't even replace the zipper. She tried to pass it off that she fixed it by re-attaching it. First off, I already tried that, thanks. Second, the moment I tried the zipper it broke again. She didn't even check to make sure it worked, or she tried to take me for a fool. Either way, it wasn't fixed. She said she would replace it and to come back. She replaced the zipper alright, and did some of the worst stitching at the top I've ever seen. I can do better than that with my eyes closed. Just because I brought my sewing to her doesn't mean I can't sew, and I know bad sewing when I see it. She obviously ripped the top of my dress and this is how she fixed it?!? Are you kidding me!? Additionally, the stitching had a bunch of loose threads in it and she didn't follow the old line of stitches at all. Overall just really shoddy work. I also dropped off my beloved 1960s party dress. The strap on it broke. An easy fix if you just go in from the bottom side of the dress and reattach it. Something I could do but didn't have time for. It's a simple hand stitch, really. She butchered it where she fixed it, as you can see in the photos. She just ran right over it with her machine. It's not even fixable. This is not a person who pays attention to their work, who checks to make sure things are done right, or who cares about the quality of the work they put out. She has ruined two amazing vintage dresses in a way I will never be able to fix. I was initially excited to be bringing my items here for tailoring and alterations, but I'll won't even be bringing back a button.
