Speech noticed that my son was having delays in fine motor skills, and was able to set up a referral to occupational therapy. Occupational therapy noticed my son was toe walking and w sitting, and got the referral to physical therapy. Everything has always been seamless and effortless. Everyone there knows my son and greets him with a smile (and sometimes stickers and lollipops LOL). My guy absolutely loves going there and has gone from being nonverbal to speaking in full sentences, his fine motor skills are almost up to where they need to be, and most of all he's happy! Rehab Without Walls is a very special place that has my respect and appreciation. Following a…read morestroke and 10 stay I chose RWWs for secondary, longer term rehabilitation. WOW, what a blessing and great choice. They are true professionals and know what's needed to turn around. Very compassionate and positive. When I walked in for the 1st time it was with a walker and steps were tiring to difficult. The Physical Therapists worked with me and pointed out what I needed. Great homework within my comfort zone. A few months later I walked out on my own with strength and stability. I can even walk fast with no worry. Special shoutout to Mike, Rachel, Ericka, Ellie as my physical therapists, they're the best. I have amazing range of motion now - and the home exercises to continue to improve. The best thing I tried towards the end of my therapy, was Dry Needling. I cannot begin to explain how effective this procedure was for me. There's total science behind it, which I won't go into, but it would definitely be worth checking it out if you have sore shoulders, backs, knees and just about anything else. However, they are understaffed. And the food is unappetizing. Despite the food drawback, it can be considered a suitable place for a temporary stay. Personally, I wouldn't be able to stay here due to my food allergies, as they don't seem to cater to such dietary restrictions. This place is terrible! My mother is currently a patient at this facility and is recovering from a…read morebroken knee. I have complained to the management about staff being 45 minutes late giving her pain medication on numerous occasions. It's always a different excuse. The person with the key to the medicine cabinet is on break. They didn't know they should wake her to give her medicine. It's shift change, and no one was available. The pharmacy forgot to order more medicine, and they're out. She's repeatedly forced to use a bedpan because staff don't respond in time to help her to the bathroom. They bring her food but no utensils. It's something new every day, but the fact that they keep leaving her in pain without her medication is just cruel. Despite repeated promises, they continue to treat her poorly. As soon as the hospital bed and wheelchair ramp are delivered to my home, we're taking her out of there. It's awful!!
