The wait was a little long i'll admit (about 45 mins) because the doctor I was seeing was in traffic, but life happens can't be mad about it. They took me back and checked my blood pressure while I waited and the nurse was also very friendly and knowledgeable about my situation. This was the first time I had been to a doctors appointment where the nurse and doctor both seemed aware of my recent visits/followups and lab results without me having to tell them everything so that was nice. My doctor was Dr. Davis and i would definitely recommend him to anyone because he was very personable, conversational, and of course knowledgeable. So many times doctors seem to be in a hurry to see as many patients as possible and it doesn't even feel like they are actually listening to you. I took a few classes in undergrad on the importance of personable bedside manner in the medical field and I think Dr. Davis was a perfect example of this. He explained everything well- things my primary care physician failed to address... and he was genuinely listening to me. So yes overall i'd say I had a great experience and not that i'm trying to be back here but if i have to i won't be mad.

My husband informed the front desk staff that he was experiencing chest pains and high blood pressure, and they instructed us to take a seat. A few minutes later, we were summoned to the front desk, where he sat in a chair, and they checked his blood pressure, noting its extreme elevation. We were then directed to sit down again, and his name was called once more. They performed an EKG and chest X-ray, after which we sat down again. Following a few hours, we were called to the desk to recheck his blood pressure, which remained high. He complained of a headache and dizziness, yet we were instructed to continue waiting. At 8 PM, we were escorted to a room in the ER, where his blood pressure reading was 224/126 and remained unstable for four hours. At 11:30 PM, a doctor entered the room and eventually admitted him. I inquired about the four-hour delay in his examination, and he explained that he had other patients to attend to. I fail to comprehend why a patient presenting with chest pains and severely elevated blood pressure was not accorded more prompt attention. Eight hours to see a doctor is unacceptable when you're having chest pains and extreme elevated blood pressure.

He refused to order any testing I requested to rule some things out. And when I asked him which labs he currently has or reviewed for me, he never showed or detailed the ones that i have. Later on, I discovered Dr. Tesfaye has had run ins with the law and medical board in North Carolina AND Georgia for sexual misconduct and inappropriate behaviors. Which even made it on Dr. Oz.
