Where do I begin with Lynn? For starters, she was SO patient with our son durning his newborn session (he has extreme gas issues and made her WORK to get him calm). She was gentle with him and truly is a baby whisperer! She had beautiful props laid out including the most amazing "rainbow baby" setup I had ever seen. When we received our USB, it came in a cute container and the USB itself had a gorgeous wood design. I'm a sucker for little details like that, so it made receiving it that much more special. I instantly cried looking through our gallery because she captured our sweet boy perfectly. I will cherish these photos forever. If you're thinking of booking a session with Lynn, just do it. Lynn's work is so beautiful! She is so patient and a natural with newborns. We couldn't be happier with the results of our newborn shoot. She even managed to change our 6 day old's diaper without disturbing him from his sleep! She is amazing, and the quality speaks for itself. read more

Lynn did a phenomenal job of taking pictures! I cannot brag enough on her, she went above and beyond my expectations for the pictures and for going the extra mile for me. I didn't make it easy but she was more than happy to change her plans. She's totally worth every penny read more

We had Lynn do milestone portraits for our 7-month old and were extremely happy with not only the photos, but with the whole experience. First, she was really understanding and flexible when the baby came down with a cold a few days before the shoot and I needed to reschedule. Her studio is perfect...cute and professional. She even had a selection of clothes for the babies, and even though I had brought my own outfits for him, I liked her stuff better and he wore those for the shoot. In the weeks before the session, she was thoughtful enough to ask what colors and theme his nursery was so she could be prepared to make sure his portraits were in keeping with our style. She was a natural with him and things went so smoothly. I'm due again this fall and definitely want her to do the newborn session! read more

Lynn Dotson Photography was established in 2013 in Kansas. Shortly after my first son was born, I decided to dive into the photography industry, completely unaware of the bump yet adventurous road that was ahead of me. All in all, opening my business has been the most incredible and amazing blessing. I am trusted day after day to capture such beautiful and fleeting moments for my clients, moments that will be gone tomorrow. This is exactly what I wanted when I created my business. Our babies grow so fast, don't hesitate to schedule your little ones session.
