    From the looks of it your other clean company didn't know about it either. Plus, it was dirty when I moved my daughter on in early 2020. Leaves litter ect... you, as a manager Logan, should walk the property more. Not just to your car and to the office. Maybe don't make excuses, make it better! Oh, and the fire pull and exit signs need taken care of, is that your maintenance or you who handled that?? I was an an assistant property manager, this is your responsibility and Mr. Lykens, not a new cleaning company.

    Cut bike chain in the "secure" garage that costs $75!!! Literally ridiculous!!

    I have lived here for a year and these are my thoughts: Currently live at 4th crossing. Great location - close to fox in the snow, seventh son and Budd's dairy hall. Didn't increase our rent after our first year. With that being said - we are actively looking into a different apartment complex to rent with after our lease is up. BE WARNED - bike theft is frequent and management does nothing about it. Our bikes are located INSIDE the "safety" garage that costs $75 a MONTH with a shitty "security" system that rarely works. My fiancés bike was stolen and they refused to give footage to the police to go through to recover the bike. Additionally, other individuals bikes have been stolen. Recently my chain was cut but bike was not stolen. Management refuses to better their security system or do anything about it. They take our signs down indicating to each other that our bikes have been stolen and will not let us add any extra preventative measure to make sure our bikes are okay. Furthermore, the windows leak during the rain onto the sills. Our oven has shitting conduction because of lack of management checking our apartment before moving in. Additionally, it is overpriced for what you get - 1.4k-1.7k for 650-700 sq ft.

    I've been a tenant for 13 months. Repeatedly charges more for water bills than what is on the billing statements. I've called several times requesting that they resolve the issue. I'm always directed to the lowest person on the totem pole and have never spoken with a manager other than once through email, which was unhelpful. Maintenance also will not address our A/C complaints and explain why we are paying $125 summer electric bills and $35 winter bills (we have been using ceiling fans to attempt to reduce costs). I asked why they have low reviews before we signed a lease and Trevor told me that the company shifted ownership. I'm not sure I believe that anymore. This company has hundreds of tenants and a small handful of employees. This results in poor customer satisfaction across the board. The maintenance team is very friendly and probably overworked. I wouldn't move into another Lykens property.

    The wonder bread lifts are spectacular. I stayed here for just a night at a friend's and I was totally blown away by the beauty of the place. The size also was quite shocking as I had no clue just how big it was until walking around. The design was spot on and all the appliances were new. Doing laundry here was a breeze as there were washers and dryers in the apartment. I'd HIGHLY recommend this place to others.

Aram and Jaime were both grossly unprofessional and rude when I called to complain about our furnace not working (it's currently 30° outside and 36° inside our home) and to complain about them raising our rent RETROACTIVELY (for two months) and Aram told me they will proceed with eviction proceedings, claiming we were late on paying rent. We've lived here for over a year and have NEVER been late paying rent and the past few months have been no exception to this. I contacted the OWNER of the property and he assured me that we will NOT be evicted and he agreed that Aram and Jaime were very unprofessional. If you want threats of eviction for making a complaint, these might be the folks for you. If not, you might want to look elsewhere. We are absolutely going to be filing suit against this slumlord management company. Their ONE STAR rating on Yelp speaks for itself. When was the last time you saw a ONE STAR review for ANY business?! I don't think I've ever seen that until now.

There were some fixes needed during our stay. The management and maintenance team responded to our requests in a very timely manner. For example, There were two ceiling fans that makes weird squeaking noises in the house. After we reported the issue they immediately contacted the property owner and brought two brand new fans for installation. No hassle, no extra charge, no back and forth arguments. We are very glad that we chose this company instead of renting from a private landlord. I think they are very professional and have a high quality of customer service.

Maintenance requests do not get done until couple months later, and even if they come over to fix the said problem, I can't tell that it was properly fixed. I honestly can not WAIT until I can move out of this house. EDIT: Bijan (the landlord) and I had a conversation. We came to the consensus that there was quite a bit of miscommunication on both sides of the party. Bijan definitely cares about the tenants' well-being. Once a distinct & straight-forward maintenance system is placed, I have no problems with this management company.

I was still living in southern California at the time but decided to get a jump start on the home search. I knew I wanted a condo and after doing some research, decided that downtown Columbus would be the spot for me. So, I Googled lofts/downtown/Columbus and up popped ColumbusLOFTS.com. I randomly selected Jeremy Gillman from the website (which is great, btw w/ tons of professional photos, etc) and I'm glad I did. Jeremy was professionally, kind, courteous and very knowledgeable about the Columbus housing market, particularly the downtown area. He asked me to email him my wish list and the next day, I received a tailored and detailed list of available condos/lofts that fit my criteria. I corresponded with Jeremy via phone and email about some of the listings and he was prompt in his reply if I left a message or was almost always readily available. I flew out to Columbus a week later, met up with Jeremy to look at lofts/condos. He took me to lunch, paid for my parking, truly treated me like a client. I eventually found the condo I wanted, but the seller didn't budge on the asking price. Jeremy was great in his execution of my directives in deal negotiations and offered his professional advice based on his experience. I moved on to my next condo and now I'm happily moved in. Jeremy was great in recommending lenders who he knew were good choices and even suggested furniture retailers, etc for me to go to furnish my new pad. I'm pretty demanding and particular in my wants and I have to say, Jeremy was patient, always even-keeled and even anticipated my needs. All-in-all, I have to say my experience with Jeremy Gillman was pretty great and I would definitely choose him/ColumbusLOFTS.com again if I decide to buy again in the future or sell.

I'm a fan of old buildings turned into units- think crown molding, original heavy oak doors, etc., and this company seems to have the pick of the litter in Grandview. Comparatively speaking, I believe that KRG takes much better pride in their properties and overall aesthetic in terms of maintaining grounds, etc. Myers doesn't do a BAD job necessarily, but could certainly do more. Also, unlike KRG, they seem to be a bit less organized. On the plus side, they are very friendly and generally very helpful. They have just changed the payment policy though and now you have to mail your payments to Cleveland instead of dropping them off locally. Only a minor headache.

    If you are looking for property management, avoid at all costs. My condo complex pays them to…read moremanage but whenever there's an update, they rely on the residents to monitor the work and refuse to accept any responsibility for scheduling, monitoring, and basically doing anything except taking our dues. In the most recent example, I was forced to schedule and be home for a city water meter update on the building because my unit is closest to the meter, even though the work being done applied to the entire building. Myers says it's my responsibility as the homeowner even though I do not own the area where the update occurred. It's the property's. They are the property management. If they are not actually managing the property, what are we paying them for? This review says "service requested" but they will not respond as they say that it's not their fault the city needs to update. Since I said they were obtuse in thinking my problem is with the city water, they said I am name-calling and they will not reply further. If you feel like being ignored, purposely being misunderstood, doing the work of the property manager for free, and throwing away your money, by all means go with Myers.

All of the positives come from investors who are pushed to share feedback within weeks of signing a contract. I refused to do that and I am glad I waited. It is like pulling teeth trying to get information regarding your property. Now try getting your earned rental income deposited in your account. The team spends in the excess of the allowed limit without communication. Very understaffed, do not have enough people to do the job needed. Poor weather winterization services for vacant properties. Will just try to sell you their renovation services to make money. Stay away if you can!

They…read moreclosed their local office citing it was due to 'structural damage' (a real estate office that can't maintain their own office?). They didn't notify the owner the way they did us. They then insist we pay solely through an online portal but that portal previously tried to bill us twice the rent due to an accounting error (thankfully we never set up auto pay or we would've been over drafted and wiped out for the following month's bills). They charge a 'convenience fee' for using the portal even though there'a no other way to pay. After just one year they've raised our rent with no apparent change in 'services' rendered. They have charged us an additional "researched noise" fee because we reported a noisy air duct in the living room but their service contractor came out, did nothing, and left. Our lease agreement says nothing about being responsible for any such fees nor were we notified in advance there would be any. We have texted them over a week ago about this with no response. We notified the owner who is trying to address it for us. Every maintenance or bill issue, we have to contact the owner directly--so what exactly is this company doing other than ignoring tenants, using an online site to process payments and taking a cut for doing apparently nothing?! Very shady to just maintain a PO Box and website but do no real managing or maintenance of the property, just hand everything over to the owner who may as well be getting paid directly.
