Hi there, Its time Saskatoon Disaster Services took a good…read morelong hard look at themselves. Taking pride in your work is important. Doing the job right and to industry standard is also important. Tyler the man overseeing this repair job showed up a few times, Never seemed to know what was going on and could organize the simplest tasks. But lets go back a moment, There was a fire New Years Eve 2012 and my mother was displaced for 4 and a half months. The fire was caused by two arching wires in the attic. Tyler showed up that night to look at the damage and assured my mother that this would be looked after and she would be in her home shortly. (oddly the only time you'll see this guy is when your insurance adjuster is around) 8 months later there are things undone and its been a battle to even reach the guy. Now pictures will be posted with comments and you can judge for yourself. However if all insurance work Is done with this POOR QUALITY and over a UNREASONABLE AMOUNT of time. My Favourite Part about this was when they brought back contaminated furniture (written off by insurance) back to the house, things that were not written off brought not brought back. And my mother was told see could move back in with her 2 dogs before the ducts are cleaned. (For those who don't know a chemical is added to the water when extinguishing a fire) She was told that Tyler restaffed at the 5 month point but those guys aren't any better. In closing When you paint you take off hardware you take out nails, you plaster holes you prime and then you paint. When you take off a screen door you replace it.(especially when your crew damages it) When you put light switches in you DO NOT leave wires exposed. When you client calls you answer. (Its customer service) Now i will be adding a link to Kijiji where this will be re-posted with pics and you can look at the finished product. Oh yeah, back yards are not suitable replacements for a garbage bins. Tyler get off your ass and get you crew in order as I'm sure more complaints will follow.
