I'm from out of town and came here for my brother's wedding. Called and he said he had a spot open for me at noon, come to find out later that noon is his lunch break. I started coming here after I realized that I didn't want to patronize the businesses that don't support real people, find a barber that cares about their community, and wanted to support a small business run by good people. They certainly check all the boxes, and are still affordable. Thanks for the great business.

Great place. My boy shut his shop down over in Longfellow and I was looking for a fairly priced…read moreplace to get a cut. I also like to get cuts whenever I travel and being a simple man, ya really can't goof it up (exception! Mexico City). So anyway, Teaj is who I work with and she always gives me a great cut. LJ, who is also working there, seems to have a steady clientele and every time I've gone, it's an easy in-and-out. Cash is king and but they also take cards. I also really like their online scheduling system. It makes it so easy. Plus it is a pooch friendly place (always ask first), as you can see, my boy Rudy was a little stressed as he had no idea what the hell was happening to me. But when all was said and done, he approved and so did I.

Worst haircut of my life. I went in on Sunday and booked with Freddy. I asked for 1/2 to 3/4 of an…read moreinch off the top. Freddy completely misheard/misunderstood me, and thought I said 3 to 4 inches. He didn't even bother to double-check or verify before hacking off hair. By the time I noticed, it was too late. My hair is now so short that I can't even style it anymore. Because the top was beyond repair, I tried to ask him to just square off the sides for a more fitting shape, but he couldn't even understand what I was saying. I ended up having to schedule an appointment with a different barber elsewhere to fix the shape. I was planning to re-perm my hair in a month, but now it's going to be 5-6 months before I'll have enough hair again. The absolute worst part was the customer service. When I went back to ask for a refund, Freddy had an attitude like it was my fault that he misheard my request. In fact, I wasn't even going to write this review originally, but the attitude was what set me off. Freddy, if you're reading this, you need to learn to double-check how much people want taken off the top. At other barbershops, they usually pull the hair up between the fingers to visually show the client and confirm how much length is coming off. I can't speak for the other barbers at this shop, but I would not recommend going to Freddy unless you want to risk getting a botched haircut because of a language barrier.

Worst experience I've ever had in a barber shop... My wife and I stopped in on our way out of town…read morebecause my normal barber shop was closed that day... The barber went on and on saying that my wife is the most beautiful woman he's ever seen (making both of us very uncomfortable), and he kept saying that she is way out of my league and how did I get a girl like that which just seemed mean and uncalled for.... He also kept low key putting me down during the cut making weird comments, lol and I didn't want to stand up for myself since he was cutting my hair and I didn't want him to purposely mess it up.... The haircut he gave me was pretty mediocre and not good..... I highly recommended avoiding this low vibe guy, check out The Barber Sharp north east, they are incredibly friendly and give top notch cuts every time....

I just found this place--next to a place where I do business--and I saw that it was a guy's place. A place with no chemical smell, no one who hates me because I am just a guy, and TV around broadcasting your favorite or maybe most hated sports teams that you want to see win or badly humiliated. I would have given them the full-star treatment but this one stylist did not even scrape my bangs evenly. How hard can that be? I do it with a razor every day! This place has a lot going for it. at least you can walk in and get your mop chopped off in a reasonable amount of time. Like other places in our new millennium, it always pays to plan ahead. Prices are good. They give free trim-ups, and they will give military discounts. Way to go Sport Clips!

I have also had great stylists in San Francisco who went on to do hair for the movie stars. I have also been to Cole's Salon in Savage, which was fine. Cole's styling is not quite as good as Moxie. I usually go to Moxie to repair bad hair cuts that I have received from other salons near Prior Lake. I live in Prior Lake and Moxie is a hike to get to but worth it. The QiQi is more natural and Moxie stopped doing QiQi because of supply chain issues, so I found Hollywood Hair Studios from the QiQi authorized dealer. Weini, the owner of Hollywood Hair Studios, is the best I have ever had to straighten my hair. Her flat iron skill is amazing. She is a total pro compared to the rest in hair straightening and blows away the competition. I have never had anyone more expert in hair straightening.
