I found the options for clothes and shoes excellent, stores were all very clean and organized. The food options were limited if you like to grab food while you shop. I had a small snack from Cafe & Te but other than that, I didn't see much. Overall, it's a nice mall with good options, wouldn't make a day out of it - but it was a well kept mall!

I always go shopping here and I love it. This magnificent marble shopping center is fresh, different and beautifully built. You can find pretty much everything you are looking for and there's always some new store every time I go. You can find restaurants, cafes, huge variety of clothes/shoe stores, cinema theater and much more! It's usually very alive and crowded during winter but it can get a bit quite during the summer. I love the fact that I can find all of my favorite stores here. Outside the mall there's other stores such as Media markt, Ikea, other furniture stores and a big supermarket. It's 20/30 min away from Madrid center but totally worth the trip! STRONGLY RECOMMENDED FOR TOURISTS! You can get there by bus or by subway (which is like a 10 min walk from there). I would recommend to go by bus since it stops right outside the mall but the subway works as well! For those of you getting there by car: 3h free indoor parking or outdoor parking (unlimited free hours). The architecture is stunning, you will love it!!

Complete with an array of restaurants at varying price levels, this is where locals seem to go to get away from the throngs of tourists in Madrid. Mostoles is a smaller city/town south of Madrid and easily accessed from Madrid by the highway and a bus that goes directly from Príncipe Pío to the mall. Take advantage of the late hours for one section of the mall where most of the restaurants are located along with a movie theater showing the latest American movies and yes, the indoor skiing attraction. Even in the deathly hot days of summer it is reported that you can don your winter coat and snow pants and romp around on the side of a man-made mountain. It's nothing compared to the alps... Or the Adirondacks... Or even my very own Bristol Mountain... But when you're on the plains of Spain, this is the perfect place to get some winter fun in. Actually given the mild winter I've experienced, I'd welcome the opportunity to ski at any time of year. Lastly, it is worth mentioning that you can get just about anything you need at Xanadu. Shopping for a pre-paid SIM card for your cheap European phone? Check out the The Phone House. Need a higher quality Wal-Mart experience while abroad? El Corte Ingles is on site. Want to jump around on a trampoline tethered to bungee cords?....Yeah, they've got that too! It's all you could ever need or want in the style of the American Mall so you don't feel quite so far from home.

From Moncloa you change to the bus (several numbers, I believe 25, 28, 29 but ask) which will take you to Las Rozas Village which is about a 25 minute bus ride. You'll know to get off as there is a huge entertainment complex on the right hand side (Theatres, restaurants, etc...) This is an outlet and you walk outside between shops. They have a lot of shops CH, Versace, Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren, Loewe, Burberry, Timberland, Lacoste, well you get the picture. I mainly went there for Ralph Lauren since I prefer their jeans, but they have a good selection. You can check their website out for a complete list.... Oh and it is even open on Sundays when most things are closed in Madrid!!!

If you don't mind buying items from the last season, this is the right place for you. And if you don't want to buy anything, still Las Village is a wonderful place for strolling and window shopping, and when you feel tired you can always sit down at one of their beautiful cafes for a cup of coffee or any other kind of drink accompanied with a snack of your choice. The waiters and sales people speak many different languages including English, Spanish, French, Russian, and Japanese among others. The complex has a few bars and cafes to have a bite to eat, but if you like to enjoy the view of the surrounding hills and the close-by residential villages in the suburbs, the recommendable bar would be Tues one with the terrace. The are different ways to get here: either by bus that leaves from Moncloa in Madrid, or in your own car. If you come driving, you don't need to worry about parking. And in fact it's recommend to come in your car, cause you're definitely going to leave the place with a lot of stuff.
