Pro Tip: Measure all dimensyour window frames prior to going so you can get an estimate of what the materials will cost in total. Also, measuring helps them tell you if you can install the blinds inside the frame or if it has to be above the frame. The storefront isn't big but has lots of blinds displays and demos. Alan was super patient and helpful when we were deciding what to get for our home. Lots of colour and materials and patterns to choose from. Price was pretty comparable to most other custom blind places in the area, definitely less expensive than your brand name places. You can pay for them to install it or install it yourself. Install: Alan himself and his brother were the ones who installed the blinds. They were professional, hard working, respectful to us and our space, and responsible - honestly, great to have them install. We noticed that some of the blinds were slightly different shades and they explained it's likely due to the fact that the materials were from different batches. They immediately said they would take it back and give us all the same lot so they would match at no extra cost and come back to re-install. That's called great accountability. Overall, we had a great experience with C&B - would recommend if you are looking for custom blinds !

I stumbled upon Canadian Shade during one of my searches and low and behold within 15 minutes I knew what I wanted. The website is so well laid out with dimensions, options and pricing that I knew straight away what I required. A phone call to Canadian shade the next day was answered by Chris who was at a job site but put time aside to chat about my project. Another call was placed to Brenda and voila I had a quote within days to my specifications. The 19x12 foot Pergolino unit was dropped of months later as COVID was holding up the production line. I installed the unit myself and it is truly a wonderful piece of workmanship. Brenda actually managed to quote me on fabric for my 1980's older awning attached to the house. I tried in vain in Ottawa but the prices were off and people all around were not that helpful. The fabric was delivered a few weeks later, I self installed with my wife and the bright orange fabric just shines. It adds a great hue to everything. Erick and Brenda from Cumberland (near Ottawa)

Not even 24 hours had passed between the time of initial correspondence and actually meeting Bayram for measurements. He arrived on time and with samples of the actual products. Thankfully, he was so patient with us as we were very indecisive (too many beautiful colors and designs)! His calm, friendly demeanor and knowledge about their products allowed us to take our time to make an informed decision. Upon agreeing to move forward with their services, he and his brother, Seref were ready to install just 3 days after our meeting for the quote! The entire installation process took less than an hour to complete! They were both very professional and installed our blinds so quickly. I love the clean look. They are seamless with our window frames. And just like that, we now have custom cut blinds that provide complete privacy and yet still allow plenty of light into our home. I'm so glad we went with the thicker panels and especially like the look when the blinds are in the closed position at night as it provides a cozy atmosphere. We highly recommend 3B Blinds to anyone looking for a low maintenance solution for window coverings that add a modern touch and functional design.
