If I'm ever going to use the word 'juggernaut' for the first time here in Yelp, then this would be it. $7 billion Euros in sales last year, 75,000 employees worldwide. Stumbled upon them, from my relentless search for the right frames, after discovering they own Sunglasses Hut, Lenscrafters among others. And a lot of the designer labels use them as well. Known for their Oakley and Ray Ban. I love my pair of Oakley's for golf, the wrap around behind the neck must be their patent :) read more

Luxottica is better known by one of its 7,000 different brands which include Oakley and Ray Bans. That's right...these are the guys who make your sunglasses. Cool huh? I own a pair of sunglasses manufactured by these guys and one of the screws came loose. I just kind of dealt with it for a while but it got annoying. I emailed customer service and they shipped me out 3 different sets of screws free of charge. Pretty awesome!
