They are thieves. I decided I wanted to celebrate my 50th birthday with some family in Jamaica. Brent Savin gave us a choice, we can either pay monthly, 65% now and the rest later or pay the whole thing. My sister and I decided to do the monthly. The rest of my family either paid full or did the 65%. We did research and there were maybe 1 bad review but we thought nothing of it. So we booked with him. Everything was going good until Nov when we decided to make our payment and we noticed it said that we didn't owe anything. We thought that uplift was changing their name so we didn't have to owe until it finally transferred over. Then it happened again. So we reached out the Brent and he told us everything was good but by that time we didn't get any confirmation. Just an invoice receipt. So my sister reached out to uplift in Dec and they said that Brent was being looked at for fraud. We reached out to Brent and he tried to say that he doesn't understand what is going on. He tried to assure us everything was fine with our trip. My sister and I decided that after the holidays we were going to go at Brent full force to get our information. By that time that's when we found out about the first new coverage. All all the bad review popped up. He had changed the name from Crafty to Luxe travel society. He even changed his cell phone number. We asked him what was going on and he said that an ex employee was trying to smear his name online. He even sent us an email that uplift was disputing the charges on our behalf because he didn't book the flight or hotel. Even with all of this we still decided to work with him. So we cancelled everything with uplit and just pay him monthly. Big mistake. Every week there was something that had us calling him in a rage. For god sake it was my 50th birthday on April 25th. Still he didn't give us what we needed. So we contacted the airline ourselves and got the confirmation. And we reached out to the hotel and got the confirmation for the room. Just by chance I reached out to one of my family members and found out that even thought she paid for the trip in full, she wasn't even booked. She called him in a rage threating to have a lawyer get involved, he had to book her 3 times. And that is just in Jan of 2025. My trip is for April. We cancelled our flights and booked our own since he assured us the hotel was good. The airfare was the problem. Since we were booked our flights we needed him to adjust the contract we needed to pay for the hotel. He never answered our phone calls our texts or emails. In Feb we received credits for the 2 payment we had made. But the hotel said the rooms were prepaid. The friday before we had to leave we received an email saying that our trip was getting near and if we needed anything to call them. How can we call you when we are in Jamaica if you are not answering our calls. I even reached out to the hotel the day before we were set to leave and they didn't reach out to me. that is another review I am going to have to write on them. If you want to go RIU Ocho Rios, it is very beautiful. But be prepared for some rude servers who push you to write a good review. Anyway, back to Brent. When we reached the hotel, we found out that he cancelled all out hotel rooms. even if they paid in full back in November. We had to book our room while we were there. It was a mess. And i found out that one of my family member he over charged them for their room. We had the room for 1200 he charged them 2100. After all of this he still owes us 450.00 for our trip. I say all of this stay away from them. They are crooks and they do not care. If you want to book a trip, airlines are now doing vacation packages. It will give you a piece of mind. Where to begin...these people are crooks. Sam and Brent are delusional, pathological liars that have no idea how to run a business. All of their problems within their "company" are of their own doing even though they try to paint the picture that it's "rogue" employees on a smear campaign. It's almost hard to blame Sam and Brent as they are obviously suffering from severe, untreated mental illness and are incapable of functioning outside of their delusions. Let's play the devils advocate for a minute...let's pretend like it is a "smear campaign" by a vindictive employee (even though we know this isn't true). What about the other lawsuits they are in the midst of? What about the countless brides and grooms left without their destination wedding/honeymoon bookings? What about the employees having to beg and grovel for their pay checks and only receiving their pay after threatening to go to the Department of Labor? I believe this business was formally known as Crafty Getaways in Miller Place, owned/operated by Brent Savin. They are accused of stealing money from dozens of people...see News12 stories. My personal experience...I paid for my trip in full and Crafty refused for months to pay the cruise line. Finally had to cancel with Crafty (I was a lucky one who got a refund) and rebooked directly with the cruise line. read more

By most accounts, this is his third scam travel agency and he has stolen hundreds of thousands from retirees and newlyweds. He has moved 20 times in the last 20 years, and has never been charged for his crimes. read more
