I had a poor experience at the first salon here in Green, so I tried Signature Nails. I was going to go down the list of salons until I found the "right" one for me. Sig. Nails set up my appt for the same day. I was "assigned" to a technician by the name of Dan. Dan was not only kind and meticulous, but listened to my concerns and worked carefully, letting me know what would help my skin. I'm so excited that I won't have to go down the list and that I not only found a great salon (for dip nails) but a great technician. I thought it was $35 plus another $20 for gel, again way more than the best salons near me in CA. I couldn't believe the price, I feel bad to locals & would definitely not go back if I was local. (1 Star) **$110 for Cracked Calluses, Jagged Cuticles, and a…read moreCondescending Lecture** I paid for an $80 premium pedicure with callus treatment and left a $30 tip, expecting professional results. Instead, I left with ragged cuticles, extra skin left all over my toes, and calluses on the ball of my foot and my big toe that hadn't even been touched. I called the salon to politely request a quick touch-up for the missed spots. The manager told me to come in, but instead of simply fixing their careless work, the technician gave me an attitude. She made excuses about not being able to remove thick calluses and barely did any actual filing. To make matters worse, she then had the nerve to give me a condescending lecture about needing to put Vaseline and socks on my feet at home. It is incredibly insulting to be given a homework assignment by a business after paying them $110 to do a job because a physical disability prevents me from doing it myself. The second 'touch-up' attempt was completely subpar. My feet look exactly the same, the extra skin is still there, and the callus on my big toe is now visibly cracked. I am attaching photos of my feet immediately after leaving the salon so everyone can see exactly what an $80 premium service at Ruby Nails gets you. If you want a salon that honors its prices, does the job right the first time, and treats customers with respect instead of making excuses, take your hard-earned money somewhere else.
