The customer service is exceptional, always welcoming, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure you leave happy. What really sets them apart is their ability to create the most beautiful custom pieces. Every item we've had made has exceeded our expectations and holds so much meaning for our family. If you're looking for quality, trust, and a jeweler who truly cares, Capri Jeweler is the place to go. We wouldn't go anywhere else!

When it was time for me to purchase a ring, I reached out to him via text and was able to complete the process entirely through text within a few day. Nathan continued to update me while waiting for the ring to be completed and was very quick to apply any edits and alterations to the ring design. The ring came out beautifully and my fiance thought it was perfect. Capri runs a very honest business and I enjoyed the experience so much I didn't even need to shop around or compare prices. I truly appreciate how easy everything was when needing to make such a big decision.

My mother-in-law's watch that they put a new battery on just days before that, because it stopped working, in spite of the new battery. 2. My husband's thin flat Movado watch because Movado Costa Mesa was charging me $600 12 years ago to get fixed. I want it fixed years ago because this watch has a sentimental value to him: his mom gave it to him as a gift when he was a teenager. He is not 54 years old. His mom passed away in 2009. I can't afford $600 as I don't have that kind of money. His birthday is coming up on 2/6 and I heard about this place that People Loved on Yelp in 2023. My husband said they are good. I gave it a shot. I brought both watches there 2 weeks ago to get diagnosed. Female manager took the timepieces and said they will diagnose and give me a call to let me know what's wrong and confirm with me before proceeding with any work. Sounded a good plan. Two weeks past, no calls. Their receipt said "we are not responsible for items left more than 60 days". I don't want to lose those valuable personal timepieces (both with sentimental value) and I don't want to forget about it because I am a busy working mom. I need this squared away in my head or as they refer or often call it: I need this out of of my hair ‍ Two days ago, I took the time to drive to the place to inquire about my watches. Their door has an automatic lock. No one can come in u less they open the door from the inside, do security purposes. Fair. I pressed the doorbell twice, stood there for maybe a minute or two waiting to be allowed to come in. Not fair, not right, not good customer service. When I got inside the store, I asked about my watches and it looked like the technician who was there that time (different from the technician who installed the battery of watch # 1 aka mother-in-law's watch). They never called to tell me and only told me right there that watch # 1 was just "dirty", so they cleaned it and charged me $20. Fine $20 is no problem. But the problem here is: 1. They never called me to let me know what's wrong, why it was not moving. 2. They never asked my permission to clean it. 3. They did work that costed $20 without my permission. How is that fair and how is the good customer service? As for my husband's watch, watch #2, it seemed that he was just diagnosing it right there and then because 1. They took so long to open the door for me to enter their store and 2. The technician took long to come out of his office to let me know what is wrong with the watches. The female manager: tongue tied and looked like she was just there to obey what the technician says. Technician told me: "I put a battery (without my permission) in your watch and it seems that there is nothing wrong with the movement. It just needs a new crystal $90 clean face dial $40, and replace back bezel $120 (all these are my estimates as I don't remember the exact prices he quoted me for). Total is roughly $250, perfect! Less than $600, I can (finally) afford it. Praise God I told him I am not sure about his claim that the watch has no movement issue, so I want to take it home and observe. I don't know if he didn't understand my request but he started getting pissed. Mind you he was multitasking trying to repair another watch while diagnosing the Movado and talking to me. He was multitasking which was very disrespectful. I started getting upset because of his poor "bedside manners"/customer service and started telling him the gripe that I had with his store, and blurted "your store is not meeting expectation bec...(and I enumerated all the poor service I mentioned above). I don't know why you were voted as People Love Us on Yelp in 2023! I think that ticked him off and told the manager, to just charge me $10 for the cleaning of watch # 1 and he told me "Do not bring your (Movado) watch here again. So basically he was telling me I cannot comeback. Bridge burned. I asked: "Are you the owner?" He said: "Yes!" This place is 3 stars for skills or knowledge but 0 stars for customer service, 0 stars for respect, 0 stars for promises made, promises delivered = not meeting expectation hence 1 star for rounding off but technically it should only be 0.75 star. Pic as proof that his claim to fame that there is no movement issue is incorrect. He said that he set the time correctly but look at the time that it's showing now: 720 am. I shout that pic at 635 am. So he is wrong. This watch has a movement issue. Imagine if I left the watch for him to fix with him assuming that it had no movement issue? That's $250 wasted. I had to bring it home and observe. I used to work for a watch repair place in Sears back in circa 1999.

I came in looking to resell some gold, clean my jewelry, repair a necklace, and to look for some new earrings. Like the other reviews said, the shop is owned and run by David and his mom. David speaks fluent English and Cantonese. I think some Vietnamese as well. His mom for sure speaks Cantonese and Vietnamese. They're both very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Let them know what you're looking for and they'll have recommendations for you! RESELLING JEWELRY David was very honest with me. I had some loose stones and he let me know there's not much anyone can do with them. I also had a ring that he identified as fake gold so it was pretty much junk lol. For some earrings that were 18k, he told me that there wasn't much gold (they were small) and because of that I would not get much resale value. Most of the value was really in the labor of making the pieces. I told him the main reason I was looking to sell was because they were white gold and I preferred yellow gold. He suggested I see his colleague at Focus Plaza and get them rhodium plated instead. (And I did for $20, see pics!) CLEANING Nothing to add, he cleaned my engagement ring so it was nice and shiny again. REPAIRING Great! His repairman soldered my necklace back together. The clasp snapped off but it was an easy fix. PURCHASING They have a great selection at great pricing. I ended up getting a pair of earrings with a delicate chain. Super cute and dainty.
