Let me start out by saying that a videographer was not initially something we budgeted for or…read morereally wanted to have, but due to circumstances with a pandemic and having to limit our guest count, including special people we really wanted to be there, including elderly family members, we changed our minds. We chatted with a few videographers but decided to hire Bruce. He has a beautiful editing style and he asked my HUSBAND and I so many questions on what we wanted and, honestly, Bruce is so talented we gave me creative freedom to do whatever he wanted because he is great. He worked extremely well alongside 6 other vendors, 2 of which were photographers and Bruce worked with them seamlessly for 9 hours in a pandemic ! We didn't have to take the same shots twice because Bruce was able to work with the photographers and capture moments in real time so they were truly authentic. He is also one of the easiest, laid back professionals to work with, and this feedback also came from our other vendors. The venue presented multiple challenges such as lighting, lots of mirrors, and tight spaces and he just made it (and us ) look like naturals. Another thing I love about Bruce, and a big reason why we hired him is his editing style. I think the current market is saturated with a lot overly edited pictures and video and Bruce's style is classic, sharp, crisp and timeless. Even without the current circumstances of a 2020 Covid wedding, I would have deeply regretted not hiring Bruce to do video. He also takes gorgeous photos. These live moments are something you will want to have forever. I promise. And Bruce, he is your guy.

He did multiple venues (one outside and one in a CrossFit gym) and on both occasions he not only went out of his way to make sure the venues and times would work with our schedules, he also spent more time than he was contractually obligated, and didn't ever complain. He actually seemed happy to be there taking more photos. Neither my fiance nor I are extremely comfortable in front of the camera, but he made us feel totally relaxed and calm throughout both photo shoots. If you want a photographer who will really listen to what you want, do everything he can to provide you with it, and not overcharge you, Bruce Williams is your guy!

Ken is great at budgeting his time. After a wedding planning session, Ken created a customized…read moretimeline with our daughter & new son-in-law. He used his pre-wedding time to go back & forth between the Bride's and Groom's Rooms for photos. As the Mother of the Bride, Ken and I had a telephone conversation and he told me exactly what he needed ready to photograph as soon as he arrived on the wedding day. Having those items prepared helped him to stay on schedule and get all the pre-wedding pictures taken so that we started the wedding on time. Ken was very accommodating with special requests from both of the Mothers, because we wanted photos taken of our extended family groups. Ken had a prepared list of the extra photos that we wanted, and he methodically went down the list. The great thing was that we never felt rushed by Ken at any point during the entire day. His attention to detail has been superb, and his talent is evident in our finished products. I'm thrilled with our photos, and I'm so thankful that I found such an accomplished professional for our special day. Way back in 2019, Ken met with me in person at his studio to discuss our expectations and to give me more information about his work. He impressed me as a delightful and extremely professional gentleman, and I liked him immediately. He also, during one of our visits, devised a detailed timeline for the events of our special day. That timeline proved invaluable in calming me on our wedding day and in keeping the festivities on schedule. All was nicely on track with all our wedding businesses, but due to the pandemic, we rescheduled our 2020 wedding. Ken was more than understanding and accommodating as I tried to come up with alternative dates. He was always a pleasure to speak with and even checked in with me from time to time to make sure we were still on schedule. On the day of the wedding, he arrived at our location in Marion County, South Carolina over an hour before the start time on our timeline, just to scope out the private home where our wedding was being held and to get an idea of photo locations. He was friendly and kind with everyone, both during photo sessions and at other times. He was fast and efficient in taking pictures, and his experience as a photographer showed as he quickly arranged us and our families in various great poses. My groom and I are both 60 years old, and he not only tried to make us feel more comfortable in posing - something that could have tried the patience of other folks - but also treated us just as he would a good-looking couple in their 20's. He made us feel special and was completely patient with his elderly bride and groom and our even-older guests. In addition to the posed photographs, he took great candid shots as well as many lovely photos of our outdoor ceremony. Since we didn't have a videographer, it was especially meaningful to me that I have photos of our vows and our walk down the aisle together. I received so many compliments from guests and family members, even before they saw the finished photos. Those in attendance noted that Ken was always available and busy taking photos throughout the evening and that he was unfailingly friendly. And then when they saw the nearly 500 photos - wow! I'm a technophobe, but Ken very patiently helped me with the online viewing of our pictures. He even emailed us a sneak-peek of around a hundred pictures less than a week after our wedding. The prints of all sizes are beautiful (despite the elderly subject matter!), and the lighting and color are perfect in each photo. When my two sons someday marry their girlfriends, I'd love to have Ken as the photographer. Even after all my wordy review, I can't think of a higher compliment than that!

I had the option to upgrade, but told the employee I scheduled with, a few months before the shoot, that I wouldn't upgrade. I was straight forward with the employee. I was told no worries to come do the shoot. So I scheduled and was excited. Upon arrival, I was hounded to upgrade and mocked for not upgrading. I was told I "would regret" not upgrading to another package and that they had never had anyone not buy a package. Chris, the photgrapher, went from being polite when I was a paying/upgrading customer, to rude and pushy when I adimitly stated that I would not be upgrading my package. I decided to continue becuase I had a $75 deposit that was riding on me staying. So I stayed. The pictures took 15 mins instead of the hour that I was told I won. I was told in email that I would get my money back, abiding by I showed up and did the shoot. At the end, I was informed that I wasn't getting my money back becuase they would never do my shoot on a Saturday. Again being told how out of the norm everything was and that they were going out of their way to accomindate someone who wasn't buying a package. I demanded the return of my money and was told becuase of the email that I had, that stated I would be getting my money back, I would get my money back. The whole experince was awful and I will never come back here again. Brides if you "win a package" don't do it. It's bad sales gimic as prices aren't explained until you arrive and it's a sticker shock. I am not in anyway shape or form saying that their prices are too high. I'm saying that if you don't research costs associated with boudiar sessions or have never considered or thought about doing this, it'll make the experience that much more uncomfortable. I thought this would be something fun and free, considering I'm spending so much on our wedding and was told I won a free session, for my fiancé and instead turned into a shaming fest and battle. Don't come here thinking you won a "free package". The only thing that is free is the shame you feel leaving because you didn't upgrade your package.

I got the pictures back and went from my 50s to my 20s - NOT what I wanted. He even removed my mole which is part of me. I don't want to be unrecognizable from my picture when I walk in the room for an interview or speaking engagement. To top it off, I still had time left on my photoshoot when the next customer walked in. She was invited into the same room as I was while posing for my shots, and it made me uncomfortable to have an audience. I will not go to this photographer again. BTW the review incorrectly shows me as San Francisco, CA. I am in Concord, NC. I cannot correct this so I am not sure why it is doing that.
