The buying process was a breeze. But once they collect their money they will not help you with issues concerning your house that THEY BROKE!! Got stood up twice by their maintenance guy took one day off of work they never showed up until way later and then tell me they didn't have what they needed to fix my house. Wouldn't recommend after this experience I've had i can't even get a call after an issue of wanting me to pay for something that was paid for in setup and delivery. Water hook ups was not done and i wasn't even informed until we drove over there because they wouldn't reply to me. Then was told i had to pay out of pocket. And when i bought up isn't that included in setup price. They said the salesman would have to pay out of his pocket. Guess he wanted an extra bonus! read more

At first, they were really good but as time got closer to the end of the one-year things started not to be so good. September we started having issues with the screen door leaking on the inside around the glass it is clearly a manufacturing issue but when I texted Tyler to let him know he said he would let Bobby know and nothing was said or done so I contacted Tyler again and told him that it is leaking and going to cause issues with the door frame and he said again he would tell Bobby. Clayton homes came out and the guy tried to fix the screen door but was still leaking puddles of water and I contacted the guy with Clayton Homes and told him he said I would have to contact Lumbee Homes and they would order the screen door now mind you this was in November before Thanksgiving and my screen door still hasn't been fixed as of Jan 12, 2022. I also have a major issue with the guy they use to build the decks and do the underpinning this guy is Phillip he has his daughter, sons that are teenagers doing work like cutting underpinning so short that it won't stay in the tracks even on a mildly windy day but the other day we had some major wind and the underpinning wouldn't have come out had it not been cut so short! In other parts of my home never moved but at this end and backside of my home, the tracks weren't installed correctly! My issue is you have a guy you contracted to do work on my home that cost a total with land $83,000 and you allow this guy to have his kids do the work and it was half butt done and I guess they figured we wouldn't find out because it was done so fast! This guys kids are 8, 16, 15, and no I wasn't happy with the work that they had done on the underpinning or the deck I have uneven boards that his son cut when they had to come back out to my home to fix and they were in such a hurry he cut it to short and nailed it onto my deck shaking my head but yet cut me short in the text the other day. I contacted Clayton Homes because all of this is wrong and I'm really mad about this Christian or not wrong is wrong! All I was told is that isn't covered under the warranty but you paid that guy to install this mess! read more
