The atmosphere was very nice. But the time to get the food was over an hour and one of the kids entrees did not come out with the rest. Was told they were cooking a new batch still had not come out when we all finished. Had to get a manager and she brought it right out. So we waited for her to eat. Got some margaritas which were watered down and could not drink. To me for the money the food was not that great. Service was not so good since we only seen her a couple times and we had to get manager to get the whole order. We will not go back but like i said the atmosphere was nice. read more

Great dinner place in Destin if you are looking for a view and fish! I have been to lulus in gulf shores and Destin, and this was definitely the better location. The mahi platter was amazing and comes with very tasty hush puppies. The grouper tacos were good, but I preferred the mahi platter. Chips and salsa EXCELLENT, you must try. The mojitos were yummy. Excellent view of the water and live music. I don't have kids but would love to take them here if I did, since they have an arcade and a nice play area! read more

We visited in the evening of a Saturday There was a 25 minute wait but it looked pretty dead. Our waitress princess was super quick and very sweet while taking our orders and getting our drink she made sure that we had full drinks the whole time as well as checked on us promptly when the food came They have a very large parking lot and they do have busy times which would be prime time dinner They have live music, which is Bluegrass/country vibe We had the kids fish sticks, which were fried crispy sandwich, chips, or fries and ketchup, We also had the fish and shrimp dinner, which I shared with my husband. We hammed up the Photo Booth. We didn't have the nerve to try the TV Filming. The wait staff was on point and left nothing untouched. We had lunch there today. As someone that requires dairy-free options I was impressed that Lulu's had a complete menu of allergen and 'free' options that they took very seriously. A manager took my specific order and brought the order to me. The options were excellent and my order of a fish sandwich was very good. My husband and I shared the Big Fry Basket. The crab claws were good and we loved the unicorn fish (had never tried it before). My mom ordered the shrimp and grits - good but VERY rich. Lulu's is a beach bar/restaurant with a big menu and bright colors - the food is what you'd expect from just that. It was all good and pretty standard. They have burgers, sandwiches, tacos, quesadillas, etc. so if you're with a group of people, it's a good option. Everything on the menu is super simple and felt generically what you'd expect for a beach bar and grill type place. One big tip - skip the hour+ wait and head out back to the bar area!! You can order food from the full menu, the bartenders are super friendly and quick, and you get the water/bridge view. 10x better than sitting inside and a huge time saver. read more

Shrimp po'boy 2nd time with the chicken andouille gumbo (I rate it a 4). The wife and days had quesadillas first time and chicken tenders and crab melt. These were great. We came with a party of ten. Went last night with friends for dinner. It was a Thursday evening around 5:30 and our wait time was 1 hour 45 min . The kids had a blast playing around which was great and it was a fun atmosphere to catch up with old friends. However... 35$ for the half & half seafood combo was a joke! Small portions and DRY fried unicorn fish !!! My husband says Captain D's has better fish than this place!! He said it was the worst meal he's had on vacation all week. read more

Great place for kids food ehhhh. I'll save you $40 and recommend not to get the crab claw app. All I'm gonna say.

Very fun atmosphere. The live music is seasonal apparently and there wasn't any when we went unfortunately. They have their own little side beach with some games like corn hole and chairs to sit. I just had the crab dip appetizer as my meal and it was Soo good! Filling enough to be a meal if you don't share. Also had the key lime cocktail drink but virgin. It was huge. I think with liquor is the same size. I would recommend to others. read more

We were so excited to try Lulu's! We arrived and the bartender at the main bar was great! The drinks were great and the atmosphere was fun. We loved the outdoor area while we waited. The wait was 60-90 minutes but it didn't feel as long because of the outdoor seating area & fun things to do. But when we got to our table things went way downhill. We were at our table 1 hour and 40 minutes for dinner. In addition to the time where we were waiting for a table (over an hour). Our waitress brought our food out before the other half of the table and we finished completely before they got theirs. I asked for a to-go box before they even got theirs. Our waitress looked overworked to be honest but her attitude completely ruined all of the sympathy I had for her regarding being understaffed. She was incredibly combative when we mentioned the poor service and long wait times. She circled around our table multiple times ignoring us, and helping other tables while we were left without water and half of us were without food. It was just terrible honestly and I love to go out to eat and usually am very easy to please but this was bad. read more

Just go in knowing this is in the Jimmy Buffet franchise and therefore it is what is... The view at this location is spectacular, especially at sunset! But the food is a mass produced somewhat bland. We had the Shrimp Tacos and Crab Nachos and you really had to search for any kind of spice or flavor in both dishes. Our server was friendly but absent, not checking on us at all. This was the off season in September '22 and the restaurant was far from packed. I doubt I will be back to this or any other location of LuLu's. read more

Came back for the second time on our trip because my family forced me. I just wanted Taco Bell. But anyway, I got the cheeseburger and a sweet tea. Burger was very good except for the sweet pickles which is just nasty to put on a burger and I think I might press charges. Sweet tea was very good! Will be back on our next trip to Destin! This place had the best coconut shrimp I've ever had. The cost was very reasonable and the staff was so nice and knowledgeable.

The service is so poor that it ruins any possibility of a good review. We cashed out before receiving any food and left. Will not be back. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more
