the best place to enjoy BBQs (in certain areas only), chill out, chat with friends for hours, play…read moreguitar and sing, listen to drummers, play frisbee or just lay in the sun and you can even have a gorgeous view on the castle as it lays on the hill overlooking the oldtown (see in my pics ;-) ) I absolutely love this view!!!! If you should be out till very, very, very early in the morning not wanting to go home to bed yet.....take a warm jumper with you and wait for the sunrise!!! WOW!!!!! A sunrise to remember :-) If you should be there with children there is even a playground area half way down the Neckarwiese!!!

You can pay either 9 EUR for entrance to both the Schloss and the garden or 5 EUR for the garden only. Ich war letztens mit ein paar Freunden von der Uni im Luisenpark in Mannheim. Es ist echt schön, einmal aus dem ganzen Trubel herauszukommen. Neben den Rheinterrassen ist das einer der schönsten Flecke von Mannheim. Als Student kommt man auch noch recht günstig hinein, wer sich öfter dort aufhält, kann auch eine Jahreskarte kaufen. Wenn man früh genug im Park ankommt, so kann man sich auch einen der Grills dort sichern. Wir haben es bereut, nicht zu schauen, was dort alles machbar ist. Also hier der Tipp, Grillzeug einpacken und natürlich Handtücher und alles, was man zum Sonnen braucht. read more

Absolut schöner Park! Es gibt dort einfach alles Mögliche -Gondoletta, Blumenpracht, Pflanzenvielfalt, Tiergehege, Pinguine, Flamingos, und viele mehr, Schmetterlingshaus, Teehaus, Seebühne, Liegewiese mit Liegestühlen, Spielplätze,... Einer der schönsten Stadtparks die ich kenne. Einfach wunderschön und super entspannend. Leider muss auch Kritik sein und deswegen auch der Punkt abzug: Übernutzung für allerlei Events mit lärmenden Auf und Abbau ständig - das ist etwas zu viel. read more

Hier muss man einfach immer wieder her kommen, vor allem wenn man Kinder hat. Hier vergeht die Zeit wie im Flug und alles haben ihnren Spaß. Superschön ist es wenn man hier den beginnenden Frühling erlebt. read more

Ein wunderschöner Park, den ich immer wieder aufsuche. Unbedingt sehenswert ist das Teehaus, aber das wurde schon einige Male genannt. Der Luisenpark ist genau der richtige Ort zum Entspannen. :-) read more
