After a long day, this pizza hits the spot. The pizza is great (honestly up there with some of the best I've had) they use quality ingredients and don't skimp on them. Our service was phenomenal, they have friendly and attentive staff, and the wait time for food was not bad. It is a cute little pizzeria in the heart of a hustling and bustling town with a beautiful view. I would highly recommend making a visit here on your next trip to Gatlinburg! read more

I know this pizza joint isn't in the middle of all the shops and other restaurants but let me tell you something....if you want good and by good I mean GREAT pizza, this is your jam! Fresh dough, sauce was perfect, the cheese, I can't even explain outside of it reminding me of a New York pizza. Small little Italian restaurant, with some of the nicest people working there. We come to Luigis at least one night on our trip to Jubilee every September. There's usually 8 of us around 10PM after the first night of the event. We love Luigis. We get the meat lovers and sometimes the Hawaiian. Sometimes both. We have a great time and our sevrver is always top notch. Sometimes we have a "ring side" seat to watch bears. They come through the parking lot next to the place. This time the bear walked through to the east and ended up looking like he wanted in the door across the street at Calhouns. Luigi's was a spur of the moment by chance stop while walking through Gatlinburg. The owner Barack stuck his head out and said I promise you won't be disappointed. We sat outside, popped an umbrella and had the pizza, meat lovers. It was exceptional. Very tasty sauce, meats and the dough was some of the best we've had. I would highly recommend. read more

Well the only negative was the sign said to seat yourselves, after that we had great service and so awesome food. Ordered an half and half large with Hawaiian on one side and the meat pizza. The crust was thin style, which I do not like but this was great. Nice and crispy on the bottom and the rest of the crust was nice and chewy. This pizza was not heavy on sauce but just enough to say here you go. The seasoning was perfect. Now they are very generous with the toppings and there was lots of cheese so cheesy that when pulling apart the last two slices you still had lots of the cheese as you pulled them apart. Pizza was amazing and Angela literally saved our life from a bear that was from you to the passenger beside you before we ever turned and realized it was there! As soon as we stood up she was opening the door and telling us to not run and stay still, then immediately started clapping and with some extra help it was running across the road up the hill! Great experience, great atmosphere, and one hell of a story! Give this woman a raise management! Came here on 11/08/24 to pick up couple of appetizers to go. Ordered Creamy Jalapeño poppers and Garlic knots. Initially was told that it will be out in about 10-15 minutes. I was willing to wait 15 minutes which is justified. However, Waited 40 minutes and then someone came and told me that they are out of garlic knots. I tried to get their attention twice before someone coming to tell me they coming to me and telling me that they are out of a food item. Spent 50 minutes waiting for 2 appetizers items. No apologies not any comp for having me wait for this long. Also the restaurant was not that busy that it would take 50 minutes for an order. Food is definitely 4/5 . Food was delicious! Big servings, big flavor. We did receive a salad with tomatoes after telling them about an allergy but it was very quickly fixed with a completely new salad. Beers are served with a cold glass. I would love to come back for their buffet! I also enjoyed the small pizzeria vibe compared to many of the huge restaurants in gatlinburg. Leaving this review based on customer service because we couldn't even try the food. My friend and I walked in tonight to grab a quick bite. Maybe 5-6 tables were sat. We stood at the hostess podium for 6 mins with no acknowledgment. There were 2 female workers in the back that looked up and saw us, one even pointed at us, then they kept scrolling their phone. We popped in here on a Saturday Night Late around 10pm and the place was packed. I called ahead for a carry out but once there because of weather being so nice we decided to switch and eat it there. There was an open table outside and I asked if we could take it and they said yes. Right after we sat down the lobby got packed and very busy so we got lucky. 2 Min later my pizza was done and on the table. It truly was a Very Good Pizza and I would highly recommend it. We were looking for Italian today and were intrigued by the fact that this place was advertised as local. Local it was so 5 stars for that. Went downhill from there. The server obviously was new and not familiar with menu. We placed our drink order and she brought it out and promptly spilled one of the sweet teas all over our table and us. Someone from the back did come out and move us to another table. Okay- could have comped our drinks for the servers inability to keep her tray level at a minimum. Food was good but our server just kept demonstrating her lack of experience. At least I hope that's her excuse. I'm normally a generous tipper but not today. When I have to ask for a second beer- she didn't even know what I ordered to begin with. I just lost my patience. She earned her $5 and not a penny more. read more

Along with giving the Pizza Rio delivery person a 7 dollar tip and then the unexpected shipping fee it was almost 80 dollars. I would not order delivery from them or you will have a big shipping fee. I think they are double dipping and taking unfair advantage of tourists.
