I visited Chatter's Salon, hoping to have only my dead ends removed. I noted this in my appointment…read morenotes and informed my stylist that I wanted to avoid excessive hair removal, as I love my long hair and would be upset if it was cut too short. She proceeded to show me about three-quarters of an inch of dead ends that she would have to remove. I agreed with this amount and let her proceed with the haircut. During the haircut, she complained that my hair was too thick and that I would need to dry it afterward. It seemed like an oversight, especially considering that I was paying $90 for a haircut. However, since it was a hot day, I suggested that she didn't have to dry it completely. I thanked her, tipped her, and left the salon. When I arrived at my friend's house shortly after, she was very concerned about my hair. She looked at it and was shocked by the horrible cut. When I originally went to Chatter's, my hair was past my hips. However, when I left in a hurry, my hair was wet, so I didn't realize the extent of the damage. When my hair was finally dried at my friend's house, it was just below my shoulder blades. This is two years of hair growth! I have yet to receive an apology, a refund, or any form of compensation. They asked me to come back and have someone else fix it, but the only way they can do that is to cut more off. What truly upset me about this was that my mom was the last person to cut my hair, and she has passed away. I asked the hairdresser to remove the dead ends from the style my mother had left in my hair. Instead, she decided to cut it straight across at the back and removed about seven or eight inches more than I had asked for. I'm not sure who would take it upon themselves to cut someone's hair off like that without being told to. I'm also not sure why Chatter's would employ someone who can't trim dead ends.

The only thing I always wished was that the massage of my legs and feet lasted longer. I had my first pedicure at Safari today and was very pleased. But what won me over was the lengthy wonderful massage. I even asked if this was a common practice or if she was possibly done earlier then expected and had extra time to fill and she said no this is how all pedicures are done that they all allot that much time for the massage! Plus they offer a quick but wonderful hand massage at the very end.....I definitely will be going back :)
