The Lufra is in one of the coolest places on earth. I just love Tazzy and all it has to offer. We got a groupon and stayed in the new hotel for three nights for the tune of around 250 Australian. So cool. Directly across the street is the tessellated pavement and a fantastic beach. Our room had a good view and everything you need, for the most part. I think there was no coffee pot. Damn Americans, I don't drink tea! Great location, close to Port Arthur, a wild life park and that crazy, ever changing Australian coast line complete with waves smashing in to it. My favorite part was the pub. The local tradies were there when we came in around six pm. I got the house a round, was immediately introduced to every one and got a bit pissed. Everyone was very friendly and one guy knew some people in Alaska and I was able to impress him with my knowledge of my home state. I can't wait to go back to Tazzy, what an amazing place.
The Wifi works best over by the pub or in the lobby. Very hit and miss in the room. Use your room key to turn on the power to everything, that was a first for me.
