It was a straight shot to my house and this guy did a complete lap around the KC Metro. We went from Liberty to down town out to overland Park back to down town and finally to my house. I got charged for all those miles. The entire time the driver was talking about his recreational drug use. The guys at this company have no idea what they are doing. They'll over charge you and destroy your vehicle. Basically crack heads with roll backs. Do not use this company.

His first priority was safety for me and my passenger when he stopped with flashers on to alert other drivers. Then he helped get me pushed around the corner onto the shoulder of East bound 40 Hwy where we could wait for a tow. Crazy traffic that time of day. The driver didn't have to stop to help -- as he was on the way to another emergency. But for our safety, safety of the car, and safety of other drivers he took his own time to stop and help. That issue alone should have been caught before the vehicle was returned to me.A few days later, after I had undergone surgery and was recovering, I noticed that the front parking sensors were also not functioning correctly. When I contacted Wicklund's Carstar about the problem, I expected them to stand behind their work and correct an issue that appears directly related to the bumper repair. Instead, I was told I would be charged an additional $200 diagnostic fee, plus labor to remove the fender and recalibrate the sensors.It's frustrating to be asked to pay more money to fix problems that should have been addressed during the original repair. Customers should be able to trust that their vehicle will be returned in proper working condition, especially when repairs involve components connected to sensors and safety systems.The lack of quality control, combined with the unwillingness to take responsibility for issues that arose immediately after their work, has left me very dissatisfied. I expected much better service and accountability.
