The older man hasn't a clue, the older lady pushes dip when I clearly stated no dip ,;gel. The young man doesn't know much and the entire time I was there the employees talked to each other in a language I believe most wouldn't understand. I tried casual conversation several times but it was to no avail. Their prices fall in line with other local businesses providing the same services so I will not return. P. S. I went to get a manicure and there were no other customers in the salon. There was an older woman that did my nails and a man that I think was her husband and a younger man that was perhaps her son. I sat down and the woman went to work on my nails and the younger guy came over and turned on the tv. I glanced over and saw that it was Asian pornography!!!! I was so shocked and I asked her why was that on tv and she acted like she didn't understand, so I just looked down at my nails for the rest of the manicure. I have never experienced anything as bizarre and offensive as this in a salon! I won't ever go back and I'm so glad I didn't have the kids with me! Creepy! read more

TERRIBLE PLACE!!!! I was so disappointed with my visit. I have been 3 times including my last visit. The first two times were not so bad, however, this last visit was absolutely awful. I was cut multiple times, as you can see in the pictures, although I'm posting 4 days later. When they first got cut, they were awful! And they were also fairly deep. The man who works here started my fill-in for me, and when he went to file my nails down he filed them way too short. He ended up burning my skin with the electric nail file due to putting too much pressure on my nails. I almost got up and left, but he apologized twice. He then ended up leaving me and letting his wife do my nails. She was very gentle and apologized on behalf of her husband, however, she has been rude to me before. She then charged me $15! And I ended up not getting a fill-in, just painted my normal nails, and I did not get a nail design, only the glitter you see on my ring finger. Yet I got charged $15, I assume she charged $15 because of taking my acrylics off for me because they were too loose to be filled in, but that was a very easy job because they popped right off. I, of course did NOT tip and usually I tip my manicurist well. Very disappointed and will not be back every again. Please, if you're thinking about going...DO NOT GO! I wish I had read the reviews before going. It was convenient to work so I thought I would go as I have a wedding to attend in 3 days. When I arrived they were finishing with one client That would make me next. I was a walk in. The door says walk ins welcome. There are only 2 people working probably husband and wife. The man starts to do my pedicure. He is more on the the rough side but I let it side. Before polish is applied, he stops and begins to address my nails. I have polish that needs to be removed. I say. I just want a polish change. I did it want to risk the roughness that I had with the pedicure. He proceeds to use a sanding disk to take off all the polish and not roughened it and place acetone to dissolve. I stop him and ask. He pretends he does not understand. He goes back to sanding and is rough and actually sands through the center of my nail and it starts bleeding. The center of my nail is dripping blood!! I jerked my hand away and said I am bleeding. He looks and tries to tell me it is my nail and not blood. It is visible. He then stops and goes to another client. No one says anything. No one addresses the blood. I have polish half on and half off. The wife polishes my toes. Which btw are not shiny. She used a gel base to finish- which dehydrates. She removes some additional polish after seeing another client. I point out that the man made me bleed. She says, " you are not from here". I said does that explain why I am bleeding. She said I was not use to there style manicure. I don't know anyone that expects to leave bleeding with a hole in the middle of their nail. I aborted the rest. I asked for the total and she wanted to charge me for a manicure. My finger is still throbbing and it still has polish on half of the nail. It was too painful to even let them finish taking the polish off. Never mind they were going to put acetone on my exposed flesh!!! Horrible!!! Absolutely horrible!!! read more

After asking "is this your real nail or fake nail" and then filing with the drill down to my real nail and burning me TWICE I was then cut with nail clippers when cutting my nail down(one of the same fingers previously burned) and then cut with a nail file! That's right, burned twice, and cut twice. I'm just at a loss for words. I've never experienced anything like this. I don't know why I paid. I was just in shock and wanted out of there. This was a horrible experience! If I could rate a zero I would. They were busy but after waiting a while to get started in my gel manicure the guy that worked in my nails cut me three places and then he left to do a pedicure and wasn't done with the manicure part much less the gel polish. I finally asked to pay and leave. They charged me ten dollars and I left bleeding. Will never go back. I have lived in Morganton for a year and a half now and still have not found a good nail salon. read more

I would give no stars if possible. Nails are all different shapes. Some not even done right. Machine was too hot and burned me even after I asked for her to turn down the setting. Didn't use a base coat for the gel. Changed the price last minute from what is posted on her sign. There's left over acrylic all over my cuticles. One of the best pedicures I've ever had. My sister and I went to get mani/pedis right before her wedding. We had just come from many hours of hard wedding work. The chairs were state of the art, the employees gave much attention to detail, and the pedicure had 4 or 5 different steps. It was wonderful, particularly for the price. I have been here about 3 times. The first time I got a full set and the man who started them had no idea what he was doing but once the woman started I was actually pleased with the outcome. I thought I'd go back for a pedicure a few months later. They sat me in a pedicure chair and started my water. I waited for 30 minutes with my feet soaking in cold water from sitting so long. Finally I asked them for a towel, dried my feet, and told them I was leaving. They were not busy, they did not care. So just this last Friday I thought I'd give them another try. It was about 6:30, they close at 7. So I walked in and asked the woman if it would be okay to get a full set this late, and if not that would be fine. She agreed and had me sit down in the chair. She started on my nails and I have NEVER had someone be SO rough! She jerked my hands around, cut 3 fingers and made me bleed several times from being so rough. Eventually my fingers wouldn't stop bleeding and she just ignored it and didn't even wipe the blood away. My fingers were still bleeding as she polished them with the salons polish! She didn't do them how I asked and pretty much gave me no option when I was the one paying them for this. Needless to say 2 days later and the cuts on my cuticles are still irritated and still bleed. I have never been so disappointed. I will NEVER go back here! I'd give them 0 stars if I could. read more

A woman and her husband work at this nail salon and are the only nail techs there sometimes a third guy walks around eating I'm guessing he's their son. The first time I went to this salon I told the lady that I wanted black and nails and she told me "I don't like" when she was asking what shape I wanted I told her I wanted stiletto type shape but not too long. I then had to explain to the lady that stiletto nail means pointed tips again she told me " I don't like." She proceeds to do them how I want the whole time telling me they were to long and shouldn't be all black because "it's not good" That was the first time. The second time was today, a family had given me a gift card. I went at 11:00 am, I wanted a simple ombré nail. I didn't leave until 3:30pm! I sat waiting while they called three other walk-ins that came in after me (they don't take appointments) I finally got up and went to the bathroom and while I was in there they took another walk-in it had been two hours at this point. I was upset by this point, but I had this gift card and wanted to use it. Another lady who was there before me said she'd been there 3 hours already. Finally the wife points me to the first chair, I give her the colors I've chose and show her a picture of what I want. She tells me no she "can't do" so I open up Pinterest and show her 4 more SIMPLE polishes she says no to all. Finally I show her the most basic thing I can find a white nail with a black line and small heart. She says " I can do." More and more people come asking how long wait time is and they keep saying very long. They all leave. Finally a woman comes in and asks for wait time and another woman getting a pedicure says "at least an hour I've waited 2." The lady says never mind and leaves. At this the husband nail tech starts yelling at the lady getting a pedicure saying ,"you no say, you no say time, I say." This is when I pipe up and say, "she can whatever she wants to say." And they bother start speaking in their language, I have no idea what they said. Finally 3 and a half hours later I'm finished. I can't believe I stayed there the whole time. Attention to detail and courteous service will keep customers coming back every time. The first time I decided to go in for a pedicure I was really unsure of what exactly to expect. Once I signed in I was immediately assigned a very comfortable place to to rest. The pedicure process is 5 star. The ladies who perform the pedicures are very gentle. If you want close cuts.. . Just tell them. They will safely oblige. My favorite part is the hot towel wrap, then an ankle and foot massage. Paradise! The trucking industry is hard on my feet because they are tucked away in my boots all day. But once I leave this place, I'm walking in rhythm. read more

I was a regular patron of this establishment and A few days ago I was there getting my nails done. I had already gotten my pedicure and was in the process of getting a fill-in when the owner asked me to go to the sink to wash the dust off my hands as I was washing my hands a white woman came in inquiring about services she wanted done. Upon agreeing what service to have she sit down in the that I was occupying as I finished washing my hands I approach the table because my belongings were still there. At that point the owner tells me to go to another table and to avoid any problems I sat at the other table, and as the owner continued to do my nails I explained to her that I was unhappy with the way she treated me. The woman whom I was not speaking to chimed in saying if I didn't like how I was being treated that I should go back to where I came from and to my shock the owner began saying the same thing you people go back. I have never been treated so bad at a place that I patronize. After posting what happened to me at this salon. I received so many responses from other minorities starting that they had received similar incidences at this establishment. For those whom are discussed with racism. DO NOT GO HERE! I recently moved into the area and decided to stop in. I have been getting my nails and feet done for over 15years now so I have experience in getting my nails done and knowledge of proper sanitation procedures. I went into this establishment on Tuesday, September 12th, 2017. I was not greeted, I should have turned around right then and there. The lady began doing my nails and began using tools that were not clean. Finally after sitting there for about 20min someone instructed me to sit down at their station chair. I sat down and the lady begins to do my nails. About 3 minutes into it I notice that the tool on the station was dirty and the tools had residue on them from a previous customer. I asked her politely if she could place a new towel down and to put the tools into the sanitation liquid to disinfect any bacteria. She began speaking to the man that works there obviously about me in their native language. She gets up and walks over to grab a towel and as she does this she snatched it off the table and places the tools in the solution. I didn't say much as this point I just observed her actions. She starts to clip my cuticles and because she was irritated by my request she ended up cutting down to far. By this time I was getting more upset. I told her she cut me; she proceeds to tell me, "If you no like it, you can go. You people always complain". Now, I'm in offended. I said, "And what exactly do you people mean". She replied, "You Mexican people". I politely got up an told her, "If my money isn't good here, I will go somewhere where my money counts". She told me " Your money no good Trumph don't want you here". I wanted to punch her but, no I decided to write my review instead. DO NOT SPEND MONEY WHERE YOUR KIND IS NOT RESPECTED!
