I have to admit that I am very fussy about the brand of cigar that I smoke. I was surprised that they had my cigar's brand. When I entered the humidor, they had boxes on the floor. The boxes were still piled nicely. I went into the "Dublin's House" to enjoy my cigar. The smoking lounge is very comfortable & quiet. Of course, I went there while most people were working. In the far back, there is a poker table. Overall, the lounge is a quaint little place. (I mean quaint in a good way.)

I know bars don't need to be flooded with good lighting...it is a bar, but I sometimes feel like I can't even see my feet. The bathrooms are absolutely horrible. The stalls don't even lock. Unless you have a friend to guard the door for you, be prepared to be walked-in on. The sinks don't work right. The soap dries out your hands instantly and smells funny. The floor is sticky and there's like over an inch gap in the stall walls. So annoying. The people who hang out there on a regular creep me out. Thank God I'm fat, otherwise I'd be afraid of being snatched into an ally and God knows what happening to me. On Thursdays they do tacos/nachos and they are AMAZING and cheap. I do love their taco Thursday's. They do have Keno and a ton of video games and the such. But shitty TVs. Super tiny.

I got sent to a loading dock because someone made assumptions based on my work uniform rather than listening to me. Thankfully, Tina at the front desk completely saved the day. She was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and made the mishap vanish. Exceptional service from her! Beyond the arrival, the property is fantastic! Lobby & Hallways: Clean, modern, and very well maintained. Rooms: Spacious, great bedding, an incredible shower, and perfectly themed artwork. Atmosphere: The common areas double as a legitimate rock 'n' roll museum featuring memorabilia from Prince, Stevie Nicks, Elvis, and more. Casino & Perks: Thursday night rewards were great, plus room stays include a free drink ticket. Dining: Fuel American Grill was surprisingly amazing. The chicken pimento sandwich was delicious, and they even serve goulash! Despite the initial entrance mix-up, Hard Rock Sioux City hit all the right notes. Highly recommend!

The room felt luxurious, stylish, and comfortable, but the bathroom really stole the show! The bathroom is huge and features a beautiful walk-in glass shower which is always a favorite of mine along with a bright vanity mirror and a built-in TV. What more could a girl ask for? Well... how about a heated toilet seat that also rinses your bottom?! This was my first time experiencing one, and I'm not ashamed to say it completely changed my hotel standards. Once you experience a warm toilet seat with a built-in rinse, there may be no going back! Downstairs, there's also a restaurant and bar that perfectly complements the upscale décor and atmosphere of the hotel. There's a pool on-site as well. The gym is a little on the small side, but with everything else this hotel offers, I can easily overlook that. Overall, The Warrior delivers comfort, luxury, personality, and an unforgettable bathroom experience. I'd absolutely stay here again!

The history and architecture of the property is beyond comparison to anything else. But the stay experience falls short after that. The problem with this property is the management. The entire staff is friendly and appears to want to provide you with good service but they've never been trained on how to do their job. From housekeeping, to service at the bar and restaurant, to simple upkeep of linens and the general property, this property should be a five star but it's a two star at best. Stay at any of the other travel hotels. You'll be much more satisfied. You'll get what you expect. This is a property in the Marriott Signature line that does not live up to what you expect from this brand. We will not return to this hotel. We have shared our frustration many time with the management over the years.
