We paid YC Drywall $5,620 for this scope of work. Here's what transpired: Interior Paint YC Drywall failed to follow instructions to use Benjamin Moore Super White. Despite clear text and email communications, they used incorrect colors and ignored our repeated reminders during the job. While they later returned to fix the issue, they skipped the ceilings and delivered subpar corrections on the walls. Refinish Cabinets We agreed on a Jaspro black wood stain. Instead, they used a black paint-like material, which remains tacky and inconsistent. Tape marks indicate improper application. Repaint Balcony Floor Contrary to HOA guidelines, they painted the balcony Super White. YC Drywall ignored both our prior communications and warnings from adjoining neighbors during the process. Additional Issue * Unlicensed Work: They claimed to be fully licensed, but this only referred to a business license--not the required contractor or specialty licenses for drywall and painting. * Poor Cleanup: They left a trail of footprints from the unit to the street. Verdict We do not recommend YC Drywall and will not hire them again.
