Gene Bozzo was our financial advisor at Cetera before he moved to LPL. At that time we were very clear that we wanted to remain at Cetera. Despite that he opened accounts at LPL for transfer of all our funds without consulting us. (Although the actual funds couldn't have been transferred without our signatures.) Even after calling LPL and advising them to cancel these new accounts as they had been created without our acquiescence, Gene never reached out to us despite a ten-year relationship prior. LPL may be a good firm, I have no experience with them, but I would steer clear of Gene Bozzo as he clearly puts his own commissions ahead of his clients' wishes. read more
