Worst place to buy products. I used to buy from them all the time. I bought all the lumber for roofs from them including tools. Every time I buy something from them. Their self-serve machines ask me are there anything left? Then they call cashier to check. I felt like I am a thief. Well, there are other places to shop. Goodbye. read more

As a NURSE WORKING ON THE FRONTLINE, I have worked at the hospital through COVID and 2 hurricanes. I was THERE FOR MY COMMUNITY when help was desperately needed. Unfortunately, LOWES HAS NOT BEEN THERE FOR ME. I had multiple broken windows from Hurricane Laura. I PAID LOWES IN FULL 8 MONTHS AGO to replace 11 windows, and they still have not completed the job. I have spent countless hours making phone calls to Lowes and their installers, but no one ever follows up or finishes the job. THE WINDOWS IN 2 ROOMS, INCLUDING MY SON'S, ARE STILL BROKEN AND DUCT TAPED TO KEEP BUGS OUT. I am shocked at the lack of customer service and follow through that Lowes has provided. THE TRUST I HAD IN THIS COMPANY IS GONE. Finish the job or refund my money. There are lots more home improvement jobs to do at my home, but I will not be choosing Lowes to get the job done. read more

I ordered custom carpet from Lowe's back in April 2021. When the carpet came in the installation company called and schedule installation for May 31, 2021. They then called back and rescheduled. This morning I got a call at 8:25 from the installation company saying that they did not have the carpet pad that I paid for. The installation appointment was 9:00 a.m. She blamed Lowes. I paid for a more expensive carpet pad. My options were to reschedule or accept the cheaper carpet pad. The installers damaged the paint on the baseboards, door casing, and doors. I contacted the installation company who told me that is was in the Lowes contract that they weren't responsible from baseboard damage because it is in their contract. I went up to Lowes to get a refund for the difference in the price of the carpet pad. I ended up leaving without a refund after an hour. My husband came home and inspection the baseboard. The installers damage the bottom of the baseboards (broke the bottom) and stuffed the broken wood into the cracks of the baseboards. We will have replace the baseboards in two bedrooms. There is no carpet under one of the door jams so that the subfloor is showing. DON'T PURCHASE CARPET FROM LOWES!!!! read more

If i could put a 0 here i would! This incident is not our 1st at the Sulphur & Lake Charles Lowes. Today we purchased 15 bags of river rock from the Sulphur Lowes. We then proceeded to the loading area on the North side of the building where we assumed we would be greeted by an employee for assistance. Instead, two young guys (employees) in uniforms watched as we loaded the rocks all by ourselves. When asked for assistance after the 10th bag, one stated "thats not our job" as he continued to stand there doing absolutely NOTHING the entire time we were there! What has happened to good/decent customer service? I guess that is a thing of the past. What a disgrace to paying customers! read more

This lowe's allowed someone to use my debit card to clear out my debit account. I wouldn't come here because either a staff worker allowed this to happen or did it themselves. Its strange that they could see my account down to the cent and used it. read more
