Petco inside
Diana G.

This Lowe's is located at Alamo Ranch. Yes, I know, the traffic is horrible, but this Lowe's is located at the end of the strip with easy access. Lowes is my go to for any home improvement projects and just recently they added Petco inside the store. The Petco section is small, but has the essentials one would need. Their garden center is pretty big. You can really find anything your looking for. I love that I can use the app to locate what I'm looking for. I can also use the app to buy online and curbside pickup. Dogs are allowed inside the store. Lowes offers a military discount. Parking is on site.

We always come to Lowe's to see the Halloween and Christmas Decor and they never disappoint. Lowe's tends to be one of our favorite places and you can always count on that they will have there Christmas stuff up by October. Also, if you don't want to go to a pumpkin patch list go to Lowe's they have a lot of pumpkins good enough for a picture lol!

Damaged tub

New small business here. Made a purchase of almost $2700 (the first of many for our business). This was on top of purchasing almost $9k in new floors for our property through Lowe's. A freestanding tub that was purchased was delivered damaged and unfortunately wasn't noted until all the foam wrapping had been opened. Lowe's refused to reimburse more than 10% of the damage (which would barely cover the $79 delivery fee for the damaged tub). This just added insult to injury with the 4 different times Lowe's canceled and rescheduled our floor delivery (of course only doing so at the end of the day). This meant I had to take off work 4 days at a loss of salary of over $1.2k. Lowe's could have made it right by granting us the requested 20% reimbursement (10% for delivery and 10% for damage). Now I will be demanding a pickup of the damaged item, and force them to put the item on markdown of likely 30-50%. ‍ I will only use them in the future if Home Depot or other home improvement stores aren't an option. Loss of my future business I suppose.

I was able to find a good selection of plants and mulch. The service was pretty good . They loaded all my stuff into my truck

I really hate leaving unpleasant reviews but I'll cut to the point. I don't want anybody else to have to experience what I experienced. Best advice out of this story is; go to 151 and 410, never had an issue at that location and will be going to only that location in the future. I went into lowes Saturday night 6/4 to try and do an online order at the customer service area and was trying to explain to the woman at the counter what it was I was trying to do. I didn't get maybe a sentence out before she immediately shook her head and looked at me as if I was crazy. She said that "we do not do that" and then tried to look up my order number and I told her I didn't have an order # I was trying to place one. She didn't give me a chance to explain and was immediately writing me off that I had no idea what I was talking about which was very disappointing. I drove in store to place the order because I had several forms of payment. Cash, gift card and store credit. Store merchandise credit cannot be used online. So I left feeling very sad and disappointed because I have never had that experience with lowes before. I went home and was able to make my purchase but was not able to use my merchandise credit which was unfortunate because it was a good amount. I didn't realize until I got home I could have done the order. I know gas lighting is a stretch of a word to use but I really was questioning my own thoughts after that interaction with her. When I got home I realized I had done an order with my mother at the lowes on 151 and 410 not even a week or 2 before! So unless it was a store by store policy or she was new which I didn't get the vibe she was but can only pressure, she was wrong. I tried to call Sunday to talk to a manager got hung up on right away. Called a second time was on hold for 20 minutes (see picture) then hung up and called back and spoke with the woman who was the same one who had me on hold. She told me one manager was at lunch and another was not sure where so I said I'd call back in an hour but I got busy and was unable to call them until today. 6/6. I was able to speak with somebody finally and explain the situation to them... the only thing though is... when I called it sounded exactly like the same woman who put me on hold Sunday 6/5 to speak with a manager who said she was a manager today 6/6 and Almost like the woman from the first experience...I did not get her name as I told her I was not trying to single anybody specifically out. Just if she could please tell her team as a whole to let the customer finish explaining what it is they are trying to accomplish and not jump to conclusions that they don't know what they are talking about and leave them feeling confused, frustrated and disappointed.

Unfortunately, I didn't read carefully and the bowls were not microwave safe. My kids are not old enough to differentiate which bowls can and cannot go in the microwave, so I returned them. My mother has been in the hospital so I just chucked the bowls in a box with no... anything---not even a note or my name or the order number or anything, and Sunset & Co. immediately refunded my purchase upon their arrival and notified me of it by email while I was away helping my mother. An hour later (you get caught up in all the eclectic items they offer). During the hour I checked out cat toys, dog toys, cards (fabulous collection of off beat greeting cards), cat litter, yo yos, dominoes, keys (they cut keys), gardening tools, pocket knives and many other items. You can find a nice weird gift for someone here. And yes, I bought a timer for $6.99. Go there and be reminded of back-in-the-day Scrivener's.

The first time he called, my husband spoke to a guy who said they needed to see the key first to see if they could do it. Fair enough, but they could have looked the key up first on Google or something. My husband forgot to ask how much it would cost IF they could do it, so he called back. A woman took his call and was short with him, as if she didn't want to be bothered. She snapped, "Oh no - we can't do that!" My husband told her he just talked to a man who told him to bring it down. So then she said "Oh, okay. $2 or $3." When he arrived and handed them the key, she took one look at it and "No we can't do that!" She was very abrupt. We would have shopped a bit for other things, we got the clear impression that our business wasn't wanted. For anything. They were not busy at all. I can understand that they couldn't make the key, but a little more kindness and perhaps some initiative to find out exactly what kind of key we needed would have gone a long way. Since they make keys, and are no doubt familiar with modern fob type car keys, a little engagement of the gray matter would have saved everyone a big hassle.

I saw so many colorful and old/vintage windows and home pieces that could add or enhance your home or add a unique aesthetic to your home. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the pricing, the lack of cleanliness or upkeep of the store, and the disappointment in this store definitely not being ADA complying for anyone who may have a mobility issue or wheelchair bound. There are so many items tucked away in corners and up against the walls here that it just seems like it would be dangerous and compact to try to walk comfortably. Parking might be a thing as we couldn't see any spots in front that would allow us to park. We had to park down the way (alley) and walked over to get to the store. It's really dusty here and although many things are labeled with the year and the type of wood/metal/glass the pricing just doesn't make any sense. I will say if you are down to explore and really take your time to look around to find a unique piece do it but maybe bring gloves? Everything is old and not in the best condition so be forewarned.

This is an upgrade from my original review…read more I originally wrote a review on the Ryobi Screwdriver set to use with a 3/8 impact set. Several straight bits the tips off and the phillips drivers all rounded the head and sides off. That prompted me to write the review. Several weeks ago I head from Alex from the review management team. We exchanged some emails and I then heard from Allison stated the set was not the RYOBI standard in workmanship. To my delight I was sent the replacement set and the bits in question are all marked for impact use. This is quality customer service which is not often found in businesses. I have updated the new rating to 5 stars. I have several RYOBI tools and will continue to obtain more. Thanks again BFord

I made several calls but for several unlogical excuses they never showed up even after scheduling for later that evening between 6pm and 8pm.
