I have gone to this Lowes multiple times since moving to the area a year ago from Somerset county. If you know exactly what you want and know they have it the store is O.K. If you need help you are better off going to SW Collins. I bought a trailer, had all the title and registration paperwork done in advance. I even had it paid for and had the receipt in my hand. It took me an hour to get out of there because customer service doesn't have a key to the file cabinet for the papers. The person who did couldn't be found. I looked at an item online but it was not in stock. It was $17. They did have an almost identical item but it was $40. Went to chat and gave item number but turns out that item number applies to 16 different products! What? Gave model # but they didn't understand. Chat was worthless. I'd drive further if I knew where to buy but guess they only want to sell the expensive product. No, Home Depot didn't have what I wanted either unless I pay even more. The store is managed by some of the most incompetent, unprofessional, ignorant, uneducated presque Isle inbreeds. They clearly have no clue what they're doing, are completely unorganized, certainly don't know how to deal with, or address customer concerns and issues with products, service within their store. I spent nearly $9000 on flooring at the store and trusted them with the installation. Huge mistake! They sent someone that's even dumber than they are to my home to install the flooring. The flooring looks like absolute garbage and the idiot they sent to my home to install the flooring, he flooded my laundry room three separate times. I've given the store, their managers, every opportunity to resolve this. They have made it clear that they would prefer to have a civil lawsuit against them, state, and federal complaints and have all of the photos, videos, and recorded phone calls posted on social media and YouTube. They could care less about consumer rights, so I'm going to have the federal trade commission and the attorney generals office educate them. Hopefully, during the process of civil litigation, their manager will lose her job. read more

Don't ever purchase a major appliance from these people and expect any help after 48 hrs. I have a Bosch dishwasher the through an error code 2 weeks after it was instilled and Lowes washed there hands of it 48hrs after it was purchased. Any thing else has a 30 day warranty but not major appliances. I will have to go through the company that made it to get anything done with this $1300 piece of crap. So now Lowes won't help with stuff they sell and you have to check yourself out at the store when you do purchases anything. What's next??? read more

Lowe's is never going to be as good as Home Depot, but it's still worth going to. Service is always pretty crappy--it's so hard to find a representative in whatever section I'm in. I always have to walk around endlessly to find someone. On the rare occasions that I DID manage to locate someone, they either were completely clueless (about 75% of the time) or were ridiculously helpful. No in between. So, mostly frustrating. However, they still have the great selection of stuff you'd expect from a Lowe's. read more
