I'm torn on this Lowes. They have an amazing selection of plants and trees, stuff you can only find at specialty stores. That being said, you can never get anyone to help you. I've spent 45 minutes or more waiting on help on multiple occasions. read more

Order some drills online and they get delivered to the wrong house. Takes 5 days for them to do an "investigation" but confirmed on day 1 they were sent to the incorrect address. They then asked me to go on a man hunt and look for these drills when THEY messed up. Was a huge debacle getting them to refund me. read more

We ordered a dish washer an hired Lowe's to install. They sub contract it out to a company who subcontract it out again. The installer damaged the dishwasher, the surrounding cabinets and left two sharp pieces of metal openlyexposed by . 5 inches, and they used a zip tie around the faucet hose so we stopped getting water to the sink and ruined the faucet. Lowes takes little to no responsibility and pushed off on the contractor. Also mid install the team hussled my wife out of an additional $150 to finish the job, plus another $100 for an emergency plumber visit to get some water to the kitchen. Again Lowes pushed it off on the subs sub contractor. read more

I've spent at a minimum of $70,000 last year 2025. And I've had nothing but bad experiences this last year i'm not sure what happened because Lowe's was my go to. I taught my dad, my brother and several friends out of going to Home Depot converting to Lowe's. The point system was great but I'm not sure anymore Black Friday I bought my dad and my brothers. Some batteries not only have I not received them now they're telling me they have canceled one of my orders. I haven't even received the first one. I literally just spent $18,000 through Lowe's two months ago for Windows I can honestly say these last few things have broke the ice and I will be seeing about a different distributor. I can say Home Depot is right across the street and right behind them at salvage depot. There's several different places you can shop and that's what I'll be doing not that Lowe's will care because there's $1 billion company and losing my little bunny doesn't hurt. read more

My family and I have been in our home for over 6 years now. Our family consists of myself, my husband, our sons and twin daughters. While we may not have a fancy home, it's ours and we value it and take care of it to the best of our ability. Due to the age of it there have been appliances and other things that have had to be replaced and/or updated. The refrigerator, stove, microwave etc. The most recent of those items consisted of the garbage disposal and the dishwasher. The garbage disposal was replaced in February of this year due to it failing to work and overflow carrying over into the dishwasher. The garbage disposal was replaced, and everything appeared to have been working without a problem. We also went a step forward and replaced the dishwasher due to its age and performance and the overflow that had previously occurred prior to the garbage disposals replacement. It was installed by Lowes installation company "Crume Installation" in May of this year 3 months after the garbage disposal was replaced. Prior to the appliances being replaced we had already moved items from under the sink such as extra bags and cleaning supplies and relocated them into the laundry room area. Which ultimately meant there was no longer a need for us to go under the sink anymore for anything. In October we noticed water on the floor in front of the kitchen sink, but it looked as if it was possibly water from where the kids completed their chores and left water on the floor so out of habit, we just cleaned it up. But it began to happen more and more and eventually resulted in us reaching out to restoration\repair company that specialized in potential water damage. After surveying the property and damage they informed us of massive amounts of water coming from under the sink and that had damaged the cabinets and flooring. It had also resulted in built-up moisture behind the cabinets and potentially the walls and arose concerns of mold. It was after this that we felt the need to file a claim with "Travelers" our insurance company, which was denied. According to their adjuster the cabinet area is an accessible area and we should have noticed what was going. We also reached out to the plumber and Lowes and their installation company whom all have denied liability for the damages. We've reached out to other plumbers to rectify the damage, but we have been informed that if they touch anything the warranty associated with the products and services will be rendered invalid by the other companies involved. We desperately need the damages fixed for the safety of our family and for us to get back to normal day to day activities. We have not been able to utilize our sink, nor the garbage disposal and we fear every single day that one of us could end up sick from the mold possibly lingering under the sink. We have considered selling our home to an investor but right now are looking towards taking legal actions as I am certain that this is happening to multiple families that pay for insurance and are denied claims when needed the most. I strongly urge others to avoid purchasing anything from Lowes and/or DO NOT use them for installation services and DO NOT use Travelers as a mortgage insurance provider. If you don't feel my situation is enough to avoid these companies, please do your diligence and read the reviews for each of them especially Crume Installations whom they have contracted with. read more

went to Lowes to get a small chest freezer for my grand son. ordered it for curbside pickup. Borrowed my grandsons car to pick it up as mine is too small. after a wait they came and loaded it in the car. drove it to my grandsons house and he and one of his friends unladed it and got it in the house, un boxed it to find no removable baskets as shown in the web description, nor was there any user instructions, or warranty information instructions. went back to Lowes the next day and they said I could bring it back that day because they only have a two day window for returns, if they were to pick it up it would cost 79 dollars, they suggested I call the manufacturer and see if they would send me the missing parts. They gave ne a number for the manufacturer but it was the wrong manufacturer. I will never buy anything from Lowes again and I would not recommend anyone else to period. Doug B. read more

On 5/6/24 I ordered a dishwasher with installation. The installer - Crume (spelling) called to schedule installation. The ONLY date/time available for them to install, I'm not available. When choosing another day, he told me that he would not schedule my installation unless he was given other jobs from the Griffin store on that day. He would not make any other install dates/times without knowing he had other jobs in the area. Lowe's customer service tells me that he is the only dishwasher installer at that store. I purchased a dishwasher and they had to deliver one from the distribution center. I received it fine and was able to get it installed in a few days. When we determined that it did not work as advertised I tried to take it back. We were inside 30 days but they determined that since I did not use their credit card I only had a 48 hour warranty. They are holding to this policy. Please be aware they do not warranty anything past 48 hours unless you use a Lowe's credit card. read more

Went into a store and bought a dryer. Was told it'd be delivered on Tuesday. Doesn't show up. HOURS of phone calls and an hour inside the store, and we FINALLY figure it what's happening. We find out they checked us out wrong in the store. Wait for next delivery. It comes, they don't hook it up like they're supposed to. We hook it up, have the handyman double check and the dryer is faulty. Now, four days later, we have NO WORKING DRYER, and are spending hours on the phone getting nowhere. Repeating the process for a thermostat we ALSO bought there. STAY AWAY for anything other than nails and screws. Update: days later, they were supposed to deliver a replacement and pick up the old one. They only scheduled the pickup. So now we just don't have a dryer read more

****BE WARE LOWES IN GRIFFIN SALES REFURBISHED ITEMS AS NEW******** We looked at a lawnmower last week that returned and refurbished according to the tag. My husband went to purchase it today and it was listed as new and the price increased He asked to the store manger and the store manager was uninterested and said yes it's the same mower but walked away from him and said no that is new. We had pictures of the lawnmower tag and confirmed what we had seen last week indeed the tag said refurbished. We called the Corporate office. They called the store the manager said he would give us 10 percent off if we had bought it the day before it would have been what we were quoted last Sunday. The manager said it wasn't refurbished. So there is nothing they can do. This is about INTEGRITY now, the manager said it was new so it must be new. I asked for a supervisor and he said the same thing. Apparently they were not worried about reconditioned items being sold as new even with the picture clearly showing it is THE IS NOT THE ONLY REVIEW THAT SAID THE SAME THING. read more

Lowe's in Griffin GA has the absolute worst customer service of any business that I have have had dealings with and the associates and management could care less. I tried for two days to order a refrigerator, the first day in store and the second day over the phone. They are the worst for answering the phone and when they do they put you on hold and never come back. I am done with this place. No more business from me. read more

I was doing a large project in spring 2017 & this store was closest to me than anywhere else. So, I wasted almost three hours searching & waiting on a service rep to extract some boards off of a shelf. Three employees walked by in that time frame & asked "are you ok," because I was patiently sitting. I told each of them that walked by that I needed help getting "those boards down." They each said "ok" & disappeared. Each time I thought I had gotten the fish to bite but they never returned with a lift. Bottom line, I never got what I needed there, I ended up going almost an hour further from my house to McDonough, Ga, Home Depot the next available week end. No complaints there. Fast forward over a year later & I'm doing something that requires me to go in to a store & not ordering it. I thought I could trust Lowes this time because its closest & that last time was a long time ago. Well, I was wrong. Same kind of customer service. Virtually, there is no customer service & even the cashiers are worse. They are very rude & act like you don't know what you're talking about. Everyone there seems very miserable & hates there jobs. This store is terribly managed. No one works in the appliance department and they sure as heck won't answer their phones. Heck, the store manger won't even answer the phone when called. I get it, we're dealing with a crisis, but wouldn't it help if this business would answer their dang phone to help lower their numbers in the store? Well, I went to the store and when I got there probably every associate in the store walked past me before a kid finally stopped and asked if he could help. This is a VERY VERY poorly managed store. I've bought two appliances to be delivered from this store. Both experiences were disasters. No communications at all when items were to be late. Can't even get a person when you call the store - supposed phone issues. Give me a break. I've been dedicated to Lowe's for 20 years, but I am now moving my business to Home Depot. Generally, I like everything about Lowe's. I'm not pleased with my latest interaction at this store though. I wanted to purchase a riding mower, a pretty big ticket item. I stood in line for half an hour at the customer service desk while ONE employee worked, at least 5 people were behind me. I finally was able to ask her to locate some help for me outside with the displayed mowers. She never did it. I had to ask two more employees before I finally got some help. I purchased the mower and was told to call if I needed any help or wanted to make an exchange. I have made a total of at least 5 calls since yesterday, only one was actually connected to someone who could help. Today I was hung up on three times. To me, this is inexcusable. You know spring is a busy time of year, get your employees engaged and caring about the customer!!! I'm probably going to end up returning this mower since they can't be bothered to help me. I quit Home Depot 10 years ago, and shopped at Lowe's exclusively. Lately, though, I've discovered Lowes is acting like Home Depot used to. Customer service means little in Griffin, at least when it comes to some company policy that will alienate loyal customers. I bought a $5.95 plumbing accessory that ended up being wrong. I waited for app. 13 minutes with no help, and had to make a choice. I went back to SWAP it for correct piece, but had left my wallet at home customer service agent refused to swap because I had no drivers license or debit card oiginally used. Store manager refused also. I had a buggy filled with other items to purchase as well (I had wife's card). I announced I would be going across the street to Home Depot, and would not come back again. The associate at HD offered to swap item, knowing I didn't buy it there. I thanked her and paid for item anyway, along with app. $200 worth of additional product. The Griffin Lowe's lost my future business over $5.95. They stuck to their principle, though. read more

Washing machine/customer service nightmare! I have been without a washing machine for over a month now! A while back, I bought the Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine and dryer from Lowe's. Thankfully, I bought the extended warranty because it has been a terrible washing machine. I called the day after Christmas to report that my washing machine was not working. It had been leaking for a long time (I didn't know), and apparently the bearings were gone on it. They said they couldn't get out to my house until January 2. They came, spent about 5 minutes looking at the machine, said they would get a parts list and quote together for Lowe's, and left. I didn't hear anything from anyone for over a week. I called Lowe's. For some reason, the parts were not ordered until January 10th! Meanwhile, I get an email from Lowe's saying they would be here on January 16th. I got off work to meet them. They never showed up. I called Lowe's. They said that they had no idea what the problem was, but that the parts were not even in yet. This is when I was told that parts were not even ordered until the 10th! I kept calling the appliance company that is supposed to be doing the repair, and they just kept saying the parts were not here, etc, etc. On around Jan 22, I get a call from appliance company (they do the warranty work for Lowe's in my area) saying the parts are in. We make an appointment for today, January 25 for the time of 2:00-6:00PM. So, I leave work to meet them AGAIN, and I didn't hear from them until around 5:00PM. He gets here, tears the machine down and then realizes that he is missing vital parts for the repair!!!! He then puts his stuff up and leaves, saying that they would try to round up the bearings and come back next week!!!! My patience have run THIN. I am very upset about this. I am a single mom, and do not have the luxury of time and money! Tonight, I calculated how much money this "warranty" repair has cost me. An expensive laundry mat trip, a trip to relative's house to wash clothes, GAS, precious time, TWO half days of missed work that I do NOT get paid for, and a month of my life spent trying to track down my washing machine repair/parts/service. Ridiculous! I sat here from 1:30 today until 6:00PM, again, and still no washing machine. I could have stayed at work!!!! I want some answers, and I want reimbursement for the expenses I have incurred and wages lost while waiting on Lowe's to do their JOB. Two weeks ago, My husband and I went to Lowe's to look at dishwashers. While we were there, we started checking out the French door refrigerators. You see, ours has been freezing all the food in the frig for a few months now and since we have already replaced the computer twice, I wanted a new one. The nice man in appliances helped us out and soon I had purchased a dishwasher and a refrigerator. I needed a Saturday delivery and they would not be able to deliver until this past Saturday. The delivery company called Friday evening to let me know they would deliver between 1:40 and 3:40. I was so excited! Got up Saturday, got all my housework done, got dressed and began emptying my old frig. Uh-oh, none of our coolers were at the house. No worries, I covered the kitchen counters with anything that I thought would not go bad quickly. I piled all the frozen food in both sides of the sink and covered them with all the ice we had. Then, I sat down to wait like a kid at Christmas! At 3:40, I called Lowe's to find out why they had not delivered. The nice man who answered the phone transferred me to someone who could help me. They were in the wrong department and transferred me to someone else. Then, they transferred me back to the person I spoke to in the first place. He gave me the phone number of the delivery service and I called them. After remaining on hold, for 16 minutes, a lady answered and advised me that Lowe's had "deleted" my order. I called Lowe's back and this time the nice man said I needed to talk with the manager. I agreed. He transferred but the phone was answered by the man who sold me the appliances. He politely informed me that the refrigerator was on back order and would not be available until after June 1. That is when I started to cry! He had originally told me they could deliver April 28. NO ONE called to tell me they would not be delivering. So, all my food had sat out for over two hours and I now had to put it all back. I am not happy with Lowe's at all... read more
