We got AMAZINGLY GOOD PRICING at this store. We went there first for a quote on a full set of kitchen appliances (dishwasher, over-the-range microwave, stove, refrigerator - all the same brand). We then went to HH Gregg which is new in town and supposedly giving excellent pricing. They were $1,500 over the price we got at Lowe's WITHOUT the extended warrantees, installation or a plug for the stove. They also did not have the model refrigerator or microwave we wanted. They had a more expensive fridge and a low end micro (the only frige and micro they had in that famous brand). Lowe's has a selection of several models in the same brand name. They have lots of other brands and items to choose from, too. This sounds like an ad, LOL. We were also impressed with the Lowe's salesperson's knowledge (Zach). We went back and made sure he got our sale. We know where to shop now, thank you Lowe's. Our only problem was their checkout person did not know how to properly ring up our sale. She could not get the entire order to appear on her register screen and started to give us a hard time about it as if we were mistaken (or lying or crazy, sheesh!). Our salesperson had to come to the front of the store and press a single key on her register in order for it to show our entire order. Nobody's perfect, but be aware of the potential for that because your order is established in the specific department, then you go to the front of the store to have the sale rung up - assert yourself if necessary so you get assurance of what you're buying. read more

After a follow up with the installer who misdiagnosed the problem again, I had to call in another plumber who quickly determined the problem. On February 7th FEDEX delivered 4 ceiling fans to my home from Lowe's. I had alsi contracted for installation through Lowes with the understanding that the first fan installed was $170 and additional fans would be $140 each. The tech came on Frb 9, installed 3 fans and found the paddlles to the fourth fan were broken. I was told during purchase that if parts were broken or missing after reporting this , the items would be sent to me home. Or a new fan would be sent to replace the fan and another installation wiuld be scheduled. After countless phone calls and rescheduling installation 3: times, I have no replacement fan. It was to arrive Feb 14, no fan, then the 16th no fan. Again countless ohone calls to Lowe's. I am not sure that I have' been talking to real people, bots or A1 . First they tell me to take the fanti to FEDEX and ship it to Lowes. The brick snd mortar stores are 2 blocks apart. I am under treatment for Cancer and cannot drive at the moment. So today someone is picking up the broken fan between 8am as bd 8 pm. Be sure aurev to have someone here iover the age of 18. . Also 4 fans, the in installation plus a 2 year warranty plan on each fan were paid for when I placed this order on February 3rd on my Lowe's vharge. But, there bis ni new fan coming. . In irdervto have the broken fan replaced, i have to reirder a fan, at $124. Op suba. Extra $15 to have ut shipped to my house and pay the installation fee if $170 because it isthe first fan installation. Lowes will not honor the terms of my initial agreement. My experience with Whirlpool customer service was horrible. I spent $1299 on this refrigerator and $119.97 for the protection plan. To date the water despencer trickles, the ice maker was broken, then replaced and now not making ice, the auto defrost is not working properly and now the refrigerator is not keeping 37* temp and is at 54*. So disappointed bought a refrigerator, was delivered 6 days ago and it is not working correctly. We called Lowes and they transferred us to a manager, manager never picked up. It just rang and rang until we were disconnected, this happened 3 times. We decided to go to the store and talk with someone in person. Well this was a waste of time too. According to the manager, we didn't purchase the Lowes warranty, so we only have 48 hours to report any issues. Seriously, how could we possibly know that it will not hold a cold enough temperature in 48 hours. We have had it for less than a week (5 days to be precise) and they tell us we have to go through the manufacturer. Tried that, they won't help either. They tell us that it is our electrical outlet problem. We can't plug it into a GFI outlet. Per FL code we have to use a GFI. We have had a refrigerator in that same spot and the same outlet for 24 years with no issues. So basically we are out the money and to hell with the customer. I will not purchase from Lowes again, they obviously don't stand behind their products. read more

Ordered the $2,000 refrigerator and they broke my front door two months ago still haven't been fixed or reimbursed for the damages. This store is committing fraud by incompetence. They're taking corporate or website orders, then failing to deliver appliances via their appliance distributor and service installers. When you call them, you can't get anyone to pick up. Had to go down to store to file a formal complaint. They blamed their store phone service for not picking up calls. Last Friday, March 17, 2023, we ordered a pre-standing cabinet for our dining room. We did not want to have to assemble it so we ordered it to come already assembled. We were expecting it to arrive on Monday, March 20, as per the order confirmation. We received a call on Monday telling us that they didn't look close enough at the order, and now because it had to be assembled, it would not arrive until Wednesday, March 22. The window of time we got was between 8 AM and 8 PM! Thinking this was ridiculous, we later notified via text that the new time window was 1:30 to 5:30 PM. By 6 PM. no cabinet had arrived. I contacted The customer service desk and that's when the royal run around began. No one was picking up the phone and when they did, they kept saying this would have to be referred to another department, leaving me on hold sometimes as much as 20 minutes! One of the associates in the receiving and delivery department, said that I would have to take this up with a manager, and that person never picked up my call. Also, before I was referred to a manager, he had the audacity to ask me if I was sure I had ordered it from them!!With an automated system, I was continuously referred to look at tracking my delivery on the Lowe's website, which clearly stated that it was en route and the driver was Diego. It was only after the third call that I reached someone seemed to give a damn. Her name was Rachel and she tracked down the driver, and we learned that he had already reported that he had come by our apartment with the cabinet and we weren't home. I was furious that they were putting their incompetence back on us! I demanded that the cabinet still be delivered on Wednesday as per my request, it finally did arrive with a different driver close to 8 PM Wednesday evening. Later, Rachel did call back to make sure that this time things were done correctly. Despite the help she provided, the entire service department of Lowe's is a joke. Do NOT go to this location or any Lowe's!! Years ago I stood in a Lowe's in Texas and yelled "Does anyone want to sell me a refrigerator?" I still didn't get service. After Home Depot's racist donations, and Lowe's support of Black businesses, I gave them another shot with a major appliance. We waited two days for a fridge delivery, called this morning, and were told the delivery was July 20! They tried to blame the sales associate, then the story changed when we pointed out the receipt said July 5 delivery. We ended up getting a refund. I've had friends tell me Lowe's plays bait and switch with inventory. Now, I've experienced it myself. If you are without a fridge, pick somewhere with a delivery guarantee! I actually in general like this store.... but today was a horrible experience at Lowe's Bradenton. I had a store pick up so I went to the Returns/Pick up/Customer Service line. Only two associates handling the growing line. But I got my merchandise and after putting it in the car I went back to shop and for what was worse.... checking out! Only two checkouts open in a really busy store. There had to be at least 10 unopened unused checkouts plus all the self service ones that were cordoned off. I had an awe full experience with purchasing an American Standard toilet at my local Lowe's on 14th Street in Bradenton Fl. It clearly stated it came complete with all parts which included a soft close lid. It did not. I tried calling 7 times to speak to manager got hung up on 7 times no one ever answered the phone. Called for the 8 time told associate that I needed to speak with anyone but not a manager because it was clear they did not care! I spoke with Chris. He really didn't care about my issue he stated I needed to contact American Standard. I told him I bought it from Lowe's not American Standard but he really didn't care. I told him I had the box it came in which stated on the outside that it came with a slow close lid he said it didn't. He was awful and clearly didn't care what I had to say. I got a refund for the stove and it was returned to the store. However, before it was picked up, the appliance delivery person for the replacement stove moved it to my lanai. He then told me that this "new" stove I had purchased, had, in fact, been used before. There was grease on the inside of the door, and it was obvious that one or more burners had already been used. So the "new" range I purchased, was actually used and was being sold as new! I will NEVER purchase another item from Lowes, and neither should you! This is fraud, plain and simple! read more

We have ordered 3 different 48 inch bathroom vanities over a 3 month period trying to get a least one that did't come in damaged. All three were damaged. A 36 inch vanity that was ordered white came in brown. Strongly recommend that no consumer order a vanity from Lowe's. Don't buy appliances at Lowes. They sell you products they don't have in stock, give you a delivery date which changes constantly because they don't have the product and when you ask for your money back they tell you you have to wait 2-3 weeks to get it all back because it has been over 30 days and they have to cut a check. Then they try to make it out to be your fault for buying they product or not coming in within 30 days. In 2015 we purchased a Frigidaire five burner electric range self-cleaning convection oven. We wanted to buy a Samsung range but at the time they were out of stock. So we settled for the Frigidaire stove and we are really disappointed with it. At first the broiler element way, that was fixed then neither the broiler with the bake element worked. I was told the temperature control was burned out. We took that to a plant store they checked it and it was fine. The appliance repair store then said it was the electric control board. Which will be another two to $300. I didn't buy the extended warranty since all the other stores I've had lasted 20 to 30 years. The Frigidaire lasted 3 1/2 years so now I am the new owner of a Samsung range and you can just tell by the way it is made it is a much better range. At first, I was going to file a complaint for Lowe's as a whole, but I just had a very degrading experience in store. This is the second time I placed an online order for an item, for it to be canceled WEEKS later, because they "ran out". This time, it was a Kobalt lawn mower. After paying someone to mow my lawn again, 2 weeks after it was supposed to arrive, I got an "order update" that just showed that my order was canceled. No phone call or email explaining they had run out, it just showed it was canceled. I had to call myself to find out what happened. At this point I demanded a similar mower for the same price as the original one I purchased, which was $299. I couldn't compare them side by side because the one I had ordered had disappeared from their website, but the one I found that seemed to have the same specifications, but was a newer model, was suddenly $499. The most that the manager offered was $100 off. Which is technically only $50 off since you can easily get a 10% off coupon online. I do not remember his name but he was nice and professional about it. Livid at the time, I declined his offer and decided to get in touch with corporate. Although the lady I spoke with was very nice, the call was completely useless. All she did was apologize and try to search for a new mower I may be interested in, even though I told her I spent hours researching myself, which led me to the mower that I was SUPPOSED to get, for $299. I called Lowes back and spoke with a manager named Kevin to see if the discount was still available. Even though I at this point did not want to give Lowes my business, this is the mower I wanted and Home Depot doesn't sell it. He was professional, told me it wasn't a problem, and to just come in and let him know that we spoke and I would receive a discount. So, I walk into Lowe's on 41 and go straight for order pickup because I wasn't sure if he had reserved one there for me or if I had to go get it. The girl called over the manager, Chris, who was walking by at the moment. I briefly described the situation to him and he says "uhhhhh, I don't know a Kevin". I told him I may have gotten the name mixed up but continued to explain the situation. We came to the conclusion that I had called the wrong store (Kevin works at state road 70). I explained that I did still speak with another manager before Kevin, whom I was sure managed his same store, because I went ahead and checked the number I called. In the middle of explaining, nicely, about the mower I found for $499 having the same specifications as the other one, he just walked away in the middle of my speaking. Still holding my patience when he came back to tell me the mower I want is for $699 and he can't do he $200 discount, I reminded him the one I wanted now was $499 and was only asking for a $100 discount. Was he even listening to a word I had said before? Now, he proceeds to tell me I dont want the one for $499 because it isn't self propelled. Being a 130 lb young woman, I knew exactly what he meant by that, and insisted I would be fine without the self propelled. He sighs and says "trust me, you're going to need self propelled". At this point I was absolutely offended and told him that I know I am a girl but I know how to push a mower and its not my first time. He said if I really want that one he would do the $100 discount for me. He was still hesitant and never friendly about the situation. He walked away at this point, not explaining where I needed to go. I tried to follow and he said he would have someone bring it up to me, but then walked out the front door and never returned. I asked the gentleman where I needed to go to check out and he seemed unsure but said probably customer service. At this point I don't even know where Chris went and didn't know what to say to the girl at customer service. Luckily the girl from pick up came to tell the girl at customer service that I was receiving a discount, which was followed with a nasty "really, why?" She was friendly but through all of this she was attempting to vent to me and other employees about drama between her and the other girls. Completely unprofessional. I have worked in some form of service my whole life and everyone knows you don't complain in front of, and especially to customers about work drama. Lastly, while waiting at customer service an employee tapped me on the shoulder to let me know I had dog hair stuck to the back side of my yoga pants. If a manager is reading this, check out the cameras from about 3:20 PM on July 1st and you can see him approach me. I could understand if I had toilet paper stuck to the bottom of my shoe but him approaching me like that was completely inappropriate. Needless to say Lowe's has lost a customer for life.
