The deli section looked really good in comparison to other grocery stores. They had a huge selection of ready to eat food. The produce and fruit looked very fresh too. Very impressed with this store as options are very limited in this town. I googled about this store and found out they were bought by Albertsons in 2013. Definitely more upscale than any Albertsons I've been to.

Was curious to find an Asian grocery store in this small town so we had to check it out. As soon as…read morewe walked in, we noticed a couple of people ordering their sticky rice and chicken with hot sauce. We talked to the owner's son who explained it's very popular and they even sell the hot sauces by the cup. They put cilantro in the hot sauce as it lasts longer. Interesting! The store is very small but they have a lot of Asian stuff like bags of rice, instant ramen, noodles, sausages, candies, cookies, canned Asian goods, and seafood. We returned the following day to try their sticky rice and chicken with hot sauce since it seems very popular. There were about 8 people in line already at noon. We got their combination of sticky rice with 2 thighs and a leg with extra hot sauce. Loved the hot sauce. It was just spicy enough with the perfect amount of salt. The chicken also had great flavor and was juicy. Didn't love the sticky rice though as it was hard.

L We stopped at the Walmart in Dumas while passing through…read moretown--it's really one of the few big box options around, so it was a convenient place to grab supplies. The location is easy to find, right off the main highway, and the parking lot had plenty of space. Inside, the store is pretty standard for a Walmart Supercenter. They had a solid range of products--groceries, clothes, electronics, even an auto center and pharmacy. It's definitely a one-stop shop, which came in handy. That said, some areas looked understocked, especially in the produce section. We also noticed a few expired items on the shelves, which was a bit frustrating. The staff we interacted with were friendly enough. One associate helped us find some dog food and even offered a suggestion for a nearby place to eat. But when we needed assistance at checkout, it took a while to get someone to the register. It seemed like they were short-staffed or maybe just not well organized. All in all, it was a mixed bag. You'll probably find what you need, but don't expect top-tier service or perfectly stocked shelves. For a small town, it gets the job done--but with some room for improvement. 3 stars.
