They don't do what they advertise. They were supposed to seal under the house totally seal it supposedly. You could see daylight between the foundation and house. They said the salesman didn't see it so now they want to charge for coming back out to seal it $1000.00 more. This is a total ripoff that needs to be reported to the State. I found Low Country Basement in the Valpak and the salesman came to the house and even though they couldn't do the job he knew how to solve the problem for good. There was a problem with water damaging the floor and walling in the den. My Son's friends had told him that the house that his Grandfather had willed to him was awful and that he should just walk away even though the house is on Skidaway Island. The Salesman recommended putting in a French drain and he is sending me a repair person that can fix the floor and wall and then install a French drain. My Son's friends wanted to Jack the house even though the house is a slab house and they would have destroyed the house. I was very impressed with the Salesman 's knowledge. After the repairs are made he recommended leveling the back porch which they can do. I am very grateful to Low Country basement for all their help and will recommend them for certain repairs and even if they can't do it they know who can and how to solve the problems for good. read more

Worst experience ever! COMPLETE SCAM. Friendly customer service but they are total crooks. Bait and switch operation. I wish I had read the many negative reviews prior to ever contacting these people. They give you a glossy pamphlet with before and after photos, develop a contract with decent prices, then do a horrible job and want to charge you twice as much to come complete the job. They charged me over $13K and said my house would be leveled. The installer told me from the beginning that he thought the job was really insufficient, but he just did the work he was told to do by the company. They left trash all over my yard and DESTROYED my a/c ducts, costing my another $8K on a HVAC system that was only 2 years old. I sent letters with pictures to the owners and all I got back was a phone call from an annoyed-sounding scheduler who sent someone else out to look at it. That person also agreed that it was poorly done. He stuck in a few jacks and left. I had to call AGAIN because no contractor would install tile in a house that is still so lopsided (5" difference in some places) Third person came out to the house and agreed it was a terrible job, that I shouldn't have to pay more to get the work completed as it should have been the first time. So they sent me an invoice for an ADDITIONAL $8,400 to make the job right!! Lowcountry Foundation Repair is AWFUL! Go anywhere else or even do it yourself and you'll be better off!! read more

I hired them to install a sump pump system, a battery backup sump pump system, a trench drain around the sump pump area, and a sanidry Sedona dehumidifier in my basement in September 2021. A few days afterward, there was a lot of rain. I found a very large puddle of water sitting on the basement floor and not draining toward the area where the trench drain was. I noticed that the finished floor area where they installed the sump systems was now raised too high for water to drain toward it. In the past, that floor area had a floor drain and was lower so water always drained toward it. I called to complain and sent photos, so an inspector came and assessed the work. He stated, " yes the water is just sitting there in a puddle" and suggested that I would have to get my concrete guy to resurface this area of basement higher so water would drain toward the sump system. I am angry that after this company charged me thousands of dollars they would not come back to fix the now too high sump system floor area, and they expect me to spend even more money to fix what they did wrong!! They are still hounding me to pay them the rest of the money and they know I am not satisfied. read more

Could not ask for a better contractor, Rob, the owner was personally on-site, we talked for quite some time, he showed me how the system worked. Because of the unique grading situation on my yard they had to work extra hard to get the best results, but they hung in there and did a great job. They have salespeople with little to no structural foundation experience... not engineers. Not enough beer on Hilton Head to take the word of a salesman trying to desperately pressure me into buying their products. Ended up using a structural engineer who recommend a contractor specializing in foundation damage. Fixed right and for less than 50% of what they wanted. read more

BEWARE: They have a "find a better deal and we'll beat it" policy, except that they don't honor it. My in-laws called them in to have some foundation repair, after having another company in who gave a higher than expected estimate. I sat in on the Low Country salesman's visit because my in-laws are both a bit hard of hearing & they feared they might have missed something important the first time around. Low Country's salesman was very well informed and thorough, and we felt confident in all he presented. Their estimate was considerably higher than the first company, but my parents wanted to go with Low Country because they trusted the salesman. He told us about the policy and instructed us to get the first company's estimate with the same products and services, and we did. The salesman said both companies use the exact same brand products. Low Country's estimate was just over $4000 higher than the first company's. The salesman took all the documents to his boss and we expected to get a matching price, as was advertised by the salesman. The "boss" said NO they would not match that price. I pressed the salesman because we were all quite disappointed. He agreed that both estimates were for the same products and the same services. He was careful to not disparage his company, but we could tell he was not happy about this. read more

They worked efficiently & even removed their shoes before walking through the house :). Initial meeting went well, we thought. Later we found out that a job that was to begin in 6 weeks would be 3 months before the work would begin. Also we signed up for 12 months same as cash and was told that the 12 months would begin after final payment was authorized. When in fact it began only a few days after signing the contract. First bill and payment was due within a few weeks. Therefore the 12 months same as cash would be only 9 months from time of job completion. We contacted them shortly after signing the contact saying that we would like to cancel our contract as we were having many family medical issues and just did not feel we could afford the almost $12,000 for the work. We were told we could not, we decided to reduce the price by not having a pump installed. By doing this they said we needed a different pump, it was less, but they still installed it. This pump was added to the price. We are also told if we disposed of the installation we could save $500. They still charge us $495 for debri removal. Which consisted of the door from an older AC unit (which we disposed of) what was replaced and a tin pipe about 2 feet long. I am not impressed with the fact that we were given false and misleading information. Brien said he was sorry that he found out he had told us wrong. Oh well! Would not recommend them, though the three young men who actually did the work was nice. They worked 3 1/2 hours the first day, 2 1/2 the second, 4 hours the next and 4 1/2 the last day.
