It was a great night out to see the Penguins come in from the Ocean for the night. It was a bit of a drive from Launceston, and we got back past our bedtime. But in-between was a nice ride out and back, informative guides, a great view of the clear night sky, and of course we saw lots of penguins! Gayle and I had seen another variety in Argentina, and one can never see enough of these fascinating critters. read more

Parked in the car park. Walked down to the beach in a group. Learnt lots about penguins! Numerous cute blue little penguins travelling to their homes from the beach. The guides line you either side of the path and the penguins walk past in front of your feet. Very close up! The white light blinds then so the guide uses a yellow light. Very very good! Really recommend. read more
