I would leave 0 stars if possible. I ended up spending over 2 hours there for a generic cleaning and check up. This is after they called and cancelled my appt. for the week before b/c it was scheduled wrong. I wasn't seen till almost an hour after my appt time. The dentist actually came and checked me out before the hygienist b/c they were so slow. He was ok-checked teeth and checked x-rays- said everything looked great and I take great care of my teeth and gums. The hygienist came in and she tore up my gums even AFTER I REPEATEDLY told her she was hurting me. Guess it didn't matter. It was so bad that I literally had blood pooling in my mouth and she didn't even bother to suction it out. She barely cleaned my teeth and then began to floss. My teeth are very tight and close together due to a lot of orthodontia work when I was a kid. She began to pop the floss in between and it was so painful! I kept telling her it hurt and I guess that didn't matter either. She began berating me and saying comments like, "See, this one hurts too huh? Yeah, it's because you don't floss and you need to take better care of your gums and teeth and floss. You must have good genes since you obviously don't floss and you're lucky you didn't have a bunch of cavities." WOW! The dentist and the other lady that checks my gums both said how great everything looked and how I take fabulous care of my teeth-which I do. The ONLY reason I even stayed was b/c I knew they'd charge my insurance even if I left early and I wouldn't be able to use my benefits somewhere else. My teeth and gums hurt so bad that it seriously hurt to eat and drink for 3 days! Oh! I forgot to mention all the children I heard screaming bloody murder the entire 2 hours I was there. They were absolutely terrified and I heard NO ONE even trying to calm them down or console them!! They were in the back rooms- most without the parents. I saw the kids being brought to them while I waited forever in the waiting room for my appt. As a parent of young kids, I CANNOT imagine my children screaming like that and not being there with them. It made me sick to hear them like that. I don't know if the parents weren't allowed for the procedures or what... but it was beyond awful. I understand kids being afraid of the dentist-but with the experience I had and the ones they were obviously having too... I can imagine why... poor babies. So, go somewhere else. Definitely NOT worth your time or your money. I will never be back. This office needs to be shut down. read more

Stay away from here. They dont update their files and office staff is rude. Son had appointment for 9am and say almost 2 hours before being seen. The girl behind the desk said we didnt do theroot canal here. Oh, yes we did, 3 weeks ago. Then says they are injecting for temporary. Had that done 3 weeks ago when root canal was done. Here for crown fitting. Ask how much longer it will take, said had 2 more ahead of us. They tried to call twice. Asked them what number they used because I had no missed calls or voicemails. Gave a number 4 years old. My records have been updated several times since then. They have it in his files. Further proof of the office staff incompetence. And she had attitude about it too. This has been my 8th visit and I'm coming in for a root canal. I had way too many crowns put in lol but I needed them. This doc is great about keeping my pain level to a zero! I know my root canal is going to be painless as well. Great care for his patients. read more

Went in on an emergency status, Dr. Blake childers was able to get me in on a Saturday to take a look at the problem and was able to set me up an appointment on Tuesday for a much needed root canal. The procedure went very well and Both Dr. Childers and his staff were very polite and helpful. They kept me in a good mood the entire time I was in the chair. DO NOT COME HERE. We are new to the arenas found this dental office on our dental insurance website. However, after 3 months of asking and just now getting my money back, we will be finding a new dentist. We were repeatedly charged for our cleanings even though the services were covered under our insurance. My husband had to go back in after our cleanings to get a scaling and they "forgot to charge him for all his x rays on his first visit" and charged him again. Then we received multiple bills in the mail, even though I had confirmed with our insurance company that we had been overcharged by Lovett. I had our insurance company call the office several times to let them know they owed us money and Sarah from the office said she would take care of it. I called the office multiple times and Sarah told me she would contact my insurance company to get proof that they overcharged us. Finally I called my insurance company again and told them I didn't know what else to do because I was not getting my money back and they called the office again and spoke to someone named Donna who took care of the refund. I called the office and talked to Donna and she wasn't the friendliest but she got it done. However she could not tel me why I was being charged in contradiction to my coverage and was telling me information that was different than what my insurance company has told me. During all this I called the billing office in Houston to find out why I was receiving extra bills and they told me my insurance company had not payed their full amount to the dental office, which wasn't true. This office just wants your money and is not honest. I also saw someone else leave a review that said the office told them they needed multiple crowns or they would get a root canal- they told my husband the same thing on our first visit. I have to say I was very apprehensive about this dentist but after multiple visits including my oral surgery, the quality of work done here is above average. If you are particularly sensitive and concerned about needing numbing, just ask! Dr. Tran was extremely kind and eased my worries for my wisdom teeth removal. I was so nervous but was asleep for the whole procedure and didn't feel a thing. Definitely recommend for a local, cheap dentist. read more

Worst customer service in a very long time!!!! Left me voice message of "scheduling conflict" day before appointment with no other explanation, mind you I had already taken day off from work. Went in on day of appointment & 2 gals at front desk wonder why I am there, I explain I work 2.5 hours away & had taken day off to see them, they ask if I would like to reschedule, I ask about 1 week later, NO, dr. cannot see anyone then. I had handed 2 insurance cards for dental & she hands one back w/no explanation. I have to ask what is up. "We only bill one insurance, company policy." 2 gals had no empathy for me, my situation, or concern about me taking my business elsewhere. When I asked what the problem was, the front end girl got the office manager and she was extremely rude saying my concern about the wait time was unwarranted. She was very rude. Rude, Uncaring Office Staff!!!!! I have been going there for about a year now. I have had a crown put on and my teeth cleaned a couple of times. The Dentists are not so bad. Dr. Anderson can be rude if you try and ask him questions. And he dropped the new crown down my throat while trying to put it on. Luckily I coughed it back out without swallowing it!! But, he never apologized for that and acted like it was my fault some how. My biggest problem is with the ladies up front and the office manager. I recently brought my daughter in to look at the cost of having a crown put on. When I went back for billing Donna added 4 cavities to the price which Dr. Asshari specifically said that she didn't need! When I questioned her about it she got really rude and snappy! Many times when I call in to the office the ladies at front put you on hold first before they talk to you. I can understand that even though they often have 3 ladies working the front desk. You would think that at least one of them could answer and handle customers on the phone? But quite often I have been put on hold and forgotten! The most I give is 15 minutes then I hang up and call again. That has happened too many times! I have been trying for 2 weeks to get my daughter in to have a crown put on, and they won't call me back and constantly put me on forever hold on the phone! I give up!! Sad, because I had just switched my whole family of 4 with them through my insurance and now I have to find another dentist!! Crazy place!! I will never set foot in there again and advise all other to steer clear and find a more professional dental office rather than an open type treatment rooms where everyone sees and hears all and the office staff is incompetent!!!!! read more

Please do not go here! Very unorganized and when treatment plan was given to me they missed a tooth with visible cavity. They do not return calls or emails when they say they will. The dentist would rather dons root canal than a filling which will cost much more for something that isn't needed. I went to a dentist about a week before I went to Lovett dental and they only agreed with about a third of the things that needed to be done. i would not take my worst enemy to this place. i took my niece which i feel so bad for doing. she needed her wisdom teeth surgically removed btw she is only 16 a minor. they called us back to a small room where there was a patient next to her and in plain sight where she could see the bloody tools they used on him.then we heard the staff slapping him to wake him up. we also could see every other patient being treated there. the surgeon and staff got nervous when i started asking question about the things going on around us and the surgeon said you should go somewhere else since you have a problem with us. i was only asking question and then he was so nervous and blurted out we are hippa certified yeah rt.DO NOT GO HERE read more

I wish I had read the yelp reviews prior to setting my appointment with Lovett. I also wish I could award them negative stars. They are shady, dishonest and deliver substandard service. I went in for an exam and teeth cleaning. The dental assistant was rude and did a terrible job cleaning my teeth. There was plaque left and he was incredibly rough. The entire time he tried to "upsell" me different services. I was told I had gingivitis and needed sealant. I have never had anything but excellent reports from dentists. I sat down with the office manager Donna and she was very apologetic and helpful. I agreed to have the sealants and the "antimicrobial irrigation". She told me she would have my teeth cleaned again and have the fluoride applied free of charge. I went back and had supposedly had those services preformed. I paid the $101 Donna and I had discussed. After I left I realized that no extra "antimicrobial irrigation" had been performed. I called back and was on hold for 14 minutes. Pam told me that the hygienist had applied fluoride and that's what I was charged for. I told her the terms Donna and I had discussed and then she quickly changed her story and said that the hygienist had done the irrigation. I asked her to explain the procedure to me. She said that the solution was applied during the teeth cleaning...that was the "antimicrobial irrigation". Pretty much they charged me more than was agreed to for services I never received. They make you pay in advance before services are performed. This is likely because they do such a terrible job that they are uncertain people would pay afterwards. I will never step foot in there again and would strongly advise everyone to do the same. This is the first time I've written a negative yelp review. I was in the service industry for many years so I am more forgiving than most people. Their business practices and customer service are incredibly shoddy. read more

The front office is so unorganized it's not even funny. The office is dirty and can't imagine what the back office looked like. After finally being called to the back the little nice assistant deeply apologized for the long wait and assured me that she will make sure I'm taking care of. She stayed in there the whole 30 minutes before the dr finally showed. The assistant proceed to tell dr Andress what we were doing to today until he rudely interrupted her with the rolling of his eyes. I did not appreciate that at all. I think her name is Brenda. I hope that's right. Cute lil redhead. But anyway. The dr never spoke to me. The assistant walked me thru everything that we are going to do. Made sure that I was ok and if I needed any thing. They way he spoke to his assistant I will never be back an I have referred many of my friends there an have had the same bad experience. The assistant was so gentle and polite I wish she was my dentist. Her dental room was so clean an organized and the other rooms were a disaster I would not recommend going to Lovett dental unless u get Brenda as ur assistant. As for dr Andress he needs to go no bedside manors at all. The assistant many times apologize for his behavior they need to get rid of all the staff and start over. I could over hear two young men talking about hooking up with girls and not trying to hide it either. Not the time or place for that type of work environment. The front office didn't seem to know what they were doing and I spoke with Donna and all I got was rude explanations. Will not be back and I will be sure and tell all my friends not to go there either. But I do want to thank Brenda for everything that she did to help fuse the situation. The absolute WORST customer service I have ever received. We wait an hour and a half at each and every appointment before we are seen and had an orthodontist appointment cancelled by them without a phone call or email to notify me. Their staff was extremely rude and disrespectful. I did not even receive an apology for my time wasted in driving all the way to their office, taking my child out of school and having to miss work only to arrive to an appointment that THEY decided to cancel because the orthodontist did not want to get caught in the rain later that evening. I understand things happen but an apology and a little consideration for someone's feeling goes a long way. I, myself, have worked in the health field for many years and I would never dream of speaking to or treating patients in this way. Unfortunately, I have pre paid my child's treatment and they refuse to give me a refund so we are stuck here for another 6 months. read more
