We stopped here briefly to use the restroom and redeem some lottery tickets during a recent trip. The restrooms didn't feel the cleanest and definitely needed some attention. The store clerk was cool. This is a very busy location so be careful in the parking lot. Lots of extra parking available, so that is a plus. Subway is on site and was very popular during our visit. You can also grab some snacks , fruit, coffee, etc here This LOVE'S is in a very suspect area! We saw lots of interesting people. I don't know that I would return here in the future. read more

I absolutely enjoy going to Love's truck stop when I travel across the U.S. However, This one right here is not for the kind hearted, but moral for those looking for some companionship while on the road. Pulled up at 1am to sign up for a nice hot shower, and my usual nap before heading back on the road. The quality of service inside was amazing, very clean, my shower was fully stocked and clean. I really enjoyed it. On the outside I Immediately noticed bottomless girls in the parking lot, random car circling around the parking lot made it very challenging to fall asleep. I get it truckers need love too. It was just way to much movement, noise from the girls calling out, and the pimps yelling for them to get to the money. Again, this was my experience. read more

I wish I was able to rate this gas station as a negative 40! I was so disappointed to see prostitutes walking around and inside the store. They seemed to hangout in the restroom. It was sad to see beautiful women degrading themselves. People roamed around begging money near the pumping stations. Customer service is none existent and rudeness is expressed as norm! Loves travel stop needs to visit some of these stations..reputation is everything!! SMH Not to mention, the ladies restroom needs sanitizing on walls in the stalls! Yuck And, we went to put air in tires..someone cut the hose. So, you won't get your $ back if you don't discover it in time. The service tech was snappy-full of attitude. 5:17am April 8,2022. Absolutely rude and no personality to each worker I encountered. The security was standing at the front and wouldn't even hold the door. Then I asked him if they sold bread in the store, he mumbled and kept walking. Wow, good ole southern charm at its best huh. The cashier with the red hair is very good at her job, but no personality whatsoever when I asked questions about the city. I have been out of the country for a while and thought I was missing something being around my people. No. Leaving the parking lot u will get beggars and then pot holes everywhere leaving. AVOID!!!!! This gas station is terrible. The 1st pump was broken. The 2nd pump, the seal was broken and the door on the machine by the credit card reader was loose as a goose! On top of that, the pumps ran super slow and the machine didn't have receipt tape. The clientele at this "Truck Stop" was 10 times better than people of Walmart. Trust me, you'll want to avoid this dump. The manager was rude too about the broken machine and the no receipt tape. read more

Avoid this Loves if you can. 1) Significantly higher than other nearby truckstops in diesel prices. 2) Roller grill & condiment bar is usually poorly stocked & dirty. 3) Coke and ice machines are frequently down on both the restaurant side and the C-store side. 4) The Chester's Chicken is significantly more expensive than other Chester's I've been too, while their tenders are smaller. 5) The Subway restaurant is OK, but dont count on getting a fountain drink. Refer to #3. 6) Mens bathroom is hit or miss- mostly its clean. Other times- it would be abusive to barnyard animals to let them crap in there. 7) Its alwaye something with this place. Theres always at least 1 thing screwed up about it. It seems like its only got this bad since the Pilot truckstops a few miles down the road at Shelby/Lamar got shut down- I'm told it was for eminent domain purposes to widen Lamar/US78. Idk if its true about eminent domain. 8) Its in a bad part of Memphis. Prostitutes frequently walk the lot and Lamar Ave. They stay at nearby hotels, 1 of which is directly across the street. If you MUST park here for your 10 hour break, LOCK IT UP. if youre getting diesel after dark and pulling forward from the fuel island, LOCK IT UP. I jnow another driver who had his very expensive Garmin Window mount GPS stolen from his tractor in the time it took to get hus diesel receipt. 7.1 this is a BAD part of Memphis. Not necessarily the worst part. But bad enough. Memphis is per capita the most dangerous city in the USA for violent crime statistics. Be vigilant, especially after dark. read more

Very poor customer service.... I came into this truckstop after having a blowout on my trailer. I got here at 5:30 got out went and checked in. Was told by to Tony there was 3 other trucks ahead of me. Ok fine I'll wait. Call in at 8:28 p.m I call to ask where was I at in the line and explained to another guy that I had been here a few hours. He tells me the technician is on break and assured me I would be the next truck in. I fall asleep wake up at 11pm no phone call. I walk in there's someone different in there and he tells me it's 3 people ahead of me and Tony left earlier for some reason. Now that really pissed me off and that he had a road call and that was his number one priority at that moment. At that point I was about to blow a fuse. So I requested a manager, he came down and I explained the same to him. Needless to say I'm in the shop now after 6 hours of sitting in this nasty stinky parking lot. Will never use this loves again. Customer service is poor and they basically cost me a whole load and to miss money. The only person that was helpful was Chris the manger. read more

The manager, I believe, I saw his name tag but I don't remember his name, maybe Mr. Jones. He worked quickly.
