We made an absolutely great decision there…read more We first met Melanie to do our engagement photos at the Blanton, those obviously turned out stunning, as she was able to get both of us to open up a little bit and get some good shots of us. Highly recommend doing an engagement session first, the chance to work with her twice was so awesome! Emails with her were always responded to in a very timely manner, and she was very helpful with any questions I had, so great to work with. She and her assistant James showed up and were ready to go on time, kept our day running smoothly through all the photos we wanted taken and they got so many shots of things that I didn't even think of! Finishing off the night with a gorgeous nighttime shot! Their personalities shone throughout the day, everyone was talking about how amazing and fun our photographers were.This was the first time that Melanie had worked with James, but you could not tell in the least, the two worked so well together and then the way they worked with the guests...I can't compliment them enough! As for the final product, it was beyond compare. Somehow she made it seem like when I scroll through the pictures of the day that I am just walking through memories of that day. It's so amazing, I truly am unable to pick my favorite pictures from the day, because they're all beautiful. I'm so glad that we hired her for our day, she made it truly great the day of and then the gift that keeps on giving, the memories she gave me are a true treasure. Most of the photography booths were hard to tell apart, and it seemed like theirs was the only one with a definite /style/. I didn't interact with "he" much, but "she" was awesome. Melanie and a helper photographed our wedding. They were friendly, relaxed, and totally flexible - there was no rigid list of shots to get, and they did some fun stuff working with the location. If you hire them, your wedding photos will look like a dream sequence in a slick modern magazine. Before we started shopping for anything, we made a priority list (food, clothes, photo, venue, etc) and decided that even if everything went wrong, if it rained, and the cake fell over, and my dress was torn, and our friends had a brawl by the keg, it would all be okay if we had amazing photos. Trust me, it is NO easy task to get two adults, three kids under 12, and two dogs (a puppy and a senior) to get together in front of a camera - but Chad had plenty of strategies up his sleeve to pull it off! He took us to multiple different settings and got awesome shots of all seven of us together and apart each time. Not to mention he was responsive and prompt, easy to talk to, and had great energy with the dogs and kids - the kids said that he was their favorite photographer they've ever had!
