    Biscuits and sausage gravy needed
    Emily H.

Love handle is delish! Service is fast casual - order at the counter then find a seat. There are standard offerings as well as some great specials. The biscuits and sausage gravy needed more sausage, but everything else exceeded expectations. This may be my current favorite chicken sandwich in the city! The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside with a spicy mayo, cheese, and pickled jalepenos. Can't wait to come back and try the dinner menu!

This is such a cute place. Very nostalgic. There are tons of pictures on the wall along with VHS tapes that gave a cool feel. This is located right on Mass Ave so parking can be tricky. There is street parking and there is a garage about a block away. When you walk in, to order you have to go to the front register. The menu is on the wall to the left and it changes weekly, from my understanding. Coffee and water is self serve but they have other drinks in a fridge. I got the spicy chicken sandwich and it was sooo delicious. The chicken piece was huge and i love the jalapenos and spicy sauce. The fries were perfectly crispy, yet soft. All condiments are at the tables and you get a number once you place your order and they will bring it to you. Tables are first come, first serve. The portions are extremely plentiful and I will be back for more.

We weren't greeted when we walked in but was greeted when placing our order. With it being my first time here, I was somewhat confused. The menu is on the wall. You place your order at the counter then they will bring out your food once you find a table. The potatoes weren't really good. The food was hot and it didn't take too long to cook. There was an old western movie playing on the projector.

Great little brunch spot with mimosa and movies on Saturday mornings. Revisited for Mother's Day and they expanded their hours and menu! They have an evening menu on Friday & Saturday that includes some interesting selections like Poutine. They still play old classic movies like "Mrs. Doubtfire". They have expanded their selection of beverages. I can't wait to try them again in the evenings.

Elevated brunch food combined with a basic greasy spoon diner. I wasn't quite sure what to make of this place at first. You order at the register, there's a big old-school menu board on the wall awkwardly off to the side, you can't get your eggs poached, and the only coffee available is self-serve drip coffee. But don't let that basic diner vibe fool you. The decor is kitschy vintage thrift store. The food is definitely better than what you get at a basic diner. I had the waffle, eggs, and brisket. The scrambled eggs were okay, the waffle was good, and the slices of brisket were superb. (And this is coming from a Texan who loves his brisket.) The coffee is from local roaster, Tinker Coffee. Overall, I recommend this place and would eat here again.

Cozy breakfast/brunch spot located in the Mass Ave area of Indianapolis (near or technically in the downtown area?). The service style here is fast casual where you order at the counter and they bring you your order when it's ready. The menu has a pretty good variety and seems to focus on comfort foods. I'm a tourist, but I don't think I would be wrong if I said that the focus is Midwest comfort classics. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with coffee. I love that you get to pick your mug that they have sitting next to the counter to fill your coffee with. The biscuits and gravy were decadent and delicious. Eating here reminds me of having breakfast at one of my best friend's house back in high school. I mean his house was decorated very similarly. And his mom would make us waffle. I'm a big fan of this place, especially since it won't break the bank and you're in and out pretty quickly all the while getting delicious food.

This is a great breakfast/brunch spot on Mass Ave! It has been around for a while but I just got around to trying it, and regret not going sooner! Went for a breakfast and could not recommend the country breakfast with chicken enough! Excited to go back to this laid back spot to have some more of the menu!

Singular lump of overcooked "scrambled" egg.

This place has a fun kitschy "crappy diner" vibe and we've wanted to check it out for a while now. We were so disappointed. Scrambled eggs were cooked on a used pan (assuming due to black bits throughout), overdone, and not even scrambled. "Toast" was cooked on one side only. Waffle was served with pepper jelly (?!) in the butter- bizarre and not advertised. Either this was an off day or they really lean into the crappy diner thing. None of this would have been quite so irritating if we hadn't been charged nearly $80 for three shitty meals. For $80, we'd rather go somewhere nice.

Came here on a Sunday morning and they seemed like they were still recovering from the Saturday rush after pride. We just ordered the pork belly breakfast sandwich and side of fries. We sat there as others got their order. It's a place where you order first then sit and they bring it to you. The people next to us came after us and got their food. After around 26 mins from ordering we went to ask and they seemed to have just forgotten about us. Once they realized they were very nice and apologized for the delay our food came out immediately after, and it tasted really good! A few bites into the fries and I found a hair. I went up and they offered to remake it but I just wanted to leave at this point. They were very friendly and the ambulance is modern with a little hipster. I think they deserve a second chance but just a really bad first experience, they refunded partially which I appreciated!

Came in for a Saturday brunch with a couple of friends. When we arrived at 10am, there were only two other tables taken, but the place quickly filled up. When you first walk in, it is a little hard to find the menu, as it's hidden behind a drink cooler. I ordered the Waffle, Meat, and Egg, with fried chicken for my meat, and a coffee. The coffee bar is self serve, with refills on the actual coffee at the counter. On the coffee bar, there is also self serve water. The food came out rather quickly. The waffle and egg were what you would expect. The fried chicken was the stand out with a great crispy flavor. I thought the menu said this was served with hot honey, but I got like a chili butter sauce? I don't know, it was just okay and I opted for syrup.

Straight from my picky husband's mouth "one of the best breakfast spots I've tried in Indy." We loved this place. I love the funky food combinations that you don't typically get elsewhere and the constant rotating menu. This had been on my "to try" list forever and I'm so happy I finally had the opportunity to go. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table, service was pretty fast. Such a cute spot, warm, cozy, nostalgic, and so much to look at.

Low key, welcoming and cozy brunch spot with amazing food that warms and heals your soul. Perfect place to decompress post-call.

I really like the fun ambiance here. I'm a laserdisc collector and still have a laserdisc player. So their selection of retro videos is a fun touch for me. The food k struggled with. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with turnip gravy. It tasted ok, but wasn't really a breakfast-sized dish. Coffee for dining in was served in 12 oz paper cups and refills were only available on request at the counter. Would have been nice to put the urn out since there was no table service. I'll probably go back and order something else that isn't appetizer size. I want to like this place.

Same great staff, same cool space, same open kitchen where a party of one like me can grab a counter seat and watch the chefs do their thing. I've honestly always enjoyed that part of the experience. Today I had the avocado toast with feta and an egg on top, and it totally hit the spot. Earlier this week I tried one of the newer menu items -- fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, plus a sample of jalapeño cornbread and Asian slaw. Incredible comfort food. And as someone who normally isn't much of a slaw person, I was surprised by how much I loved it. They also tried to tempt me with the roast beef special, which honestly looked great, but at 10:30 in the morning I just couldn't fully commit to roast beef yet. Maybe next time. The new name is a nice tribute to the owner's mother, Arleen, but thankfully it still feels like the Milktooth so many of us have come to enjoy over the years. No one asked if everything was okay even though most of my food was untouched. The food... my salad (house greens) was a great little salad! I say this despite finding a hair on the plate when I was about 2/3 through. My mussels and fries were not great. The fries were mid - they tasted kind of overdone or as if the oil were old. The mussels were actively bad. The portion (an app) was pretty small. There was hardly any broth/wine and they weren't piping hot. Also, they were actually not tasty and the texture was rubbery. They remained in front of me, uncleared, even after I closed my tab. They did not smell good. I don't anticipate being sick but I do anticipate being hungry.

Finally was able to enjoy Jazz night at Parlor Public House!! Walking in, the vibe was definitely…read moregiving grown and sexy. We came around 6:30 to get a table because the place fills up fast! Jazz music starts at 8pm on Thursdays and by 8 pretty much all tables were taken. On Thursdays they also have 1/2 off bottles so we decided to get a Prosecco to share. We ended up getting two ! They have a small evening menu ranging from charcuterie boards, olives, crab cakes and flatbread. I got the prosciutto, arugula and fig jam flat bread and omgggg it was DELICIOUS!!! The sweetness of the fig jam and the saltiness of the prosciutto is a match made in heaven! One thing I will say is the music is very loud for how small the place is and it was hard to hear but other than that, I will definitely be back. They are also a coffee shop in the morning and a cute spot to work remotely for a day and I'm going to plan to do that! I want to try their coffee !
