The accommodations were basic but clean and comfortable. We found the breakfast to be one of the better "hotel breakfasts" compared to the other hotels we stayed in along our route. It was also an easy drive to the brew pub we selected for refreshments and dinner. My only regret is that I didn't have time to take my bicycle out on the nice looking bike path linking Marshall and surrounding areas. Maybe next time.

Unfortunately, a lot has changed and the place has gone down hill. The room we stayed in, on the main floor, was very run down and smelled nasty. The room was so cold; thermostat set on 87 and still very cold. The shower was lukewarm, never real got hot no matter how long we let it run. The room itself was very dirty. There were food splatters on the lamp shades above the bed, mildew in the coffee maker and bright green gum stuck to the carpet as you walk in. Nasty. I wouldn't recommend staying here. We won't be staying again, not worth it anymore.

They had a regular tub/shower in the bathroom. The whole hotel was very clean with friendly staff. The bed was very comfortable. Controlling the A/C from a thermostat was nice and it worked well. WiFi was good and breakfast ok. The star for me was the hot tub! I didn't want to get out! We were there for two days, so I made sure I got my money's worth. They had a regular hot tub and indoor pool that looked nice, but we didn't use it. I would highly recommend this place and spending a couple more ponies for the jacuzzi room.

When making the reservation, it says pet friendly but no information on the pet fee so when we…read morechecked in they said it was $50 for pet fee, so ended up paying 120 for king room that had an odd smell, drywall patch material stains on furniture, ripped desk chair, unfinished repairs on the walls, sink stopper broken so it would not drain, half roll of toilet paper that they applied a sticker on it to try and make it look like a new roll which is unsanitary, the area on the box spring by the headboard had hair, crumbs, & dust like it hadn't been vaccumed in a long while, and the bed was rock hard.
