I decided to go to this casino for the new year as I knew I had food credit and came here for the energy drinks and my little $25 dollar in free play. I also wanted to play the roulette game with a spin bonus and wild thing and most likely leave. I do not know why I like playing that game as I never hit anything good on there and getting the bonus. However, I decided this time to try my luck at this casino and see what happens as I saw last time they did have a lot of old school three reel machines that were not volatile. I should try it. The roulette game was out of commission so I played Wild Thing and nothing happened. I then played Triple Double Dollar and even though I did see the machine had a jackpot on there I decided to do the "backup" spins and little did I know I hit my first jackpot there of $2400.00 They do take a long time to get to you that I had to get someone from the cashier cage to come get me. Then, I had to wait another 30 minutes for my handpay to appear. I ended up playing some really old Aristocrat games while I waited and they were a lot of fun as I got a bonus on one and the other a great line hit. I played triple stars with no luck, but double diamond deluxe which gave me $400 dollars. I got my energy drinks with my voucher as the coffee shop is the only one opened. They have an Asian place opening up too which I will try next time. I have not seen a horse race here, but maybe I will go to one, we will see.

Good experience with the horse races. First time seeing the races and it was fun. Witnessed horse race, zebra racing and ostrich racing. Good experience for the family.

Truck Driver I have been coming here to play while on route and for a year I bet big, 10cent 25 denom to 250 and never win here. Kinda sad how bad the payouts are. Now they chained off semi truck parking and will harass your co driver about truck going in little gate now, couple all these negatives and never win, I would highly suggest trucker to pass and go to Phoenix, they don't harass us and wins are better.

***rating slot floor only*** Typical casino. Nothing very special about it. It is very bright and fun to look around in. Of the four casinos I visited over the weekend, probably the most festive. I did win $300. So that was awesome. But I subsequently gave it all away in other establishments so......... oh man. I keep trying to get my mom out into the main lobby and race track floor, but we can't seem to get out of the casino. A server did ask us directly if we needed anything. We didn't. So maybe I should be giving it five stars.

A fairly nice casino that looks bigger from the outside than on the inside (although the horse themed stuff is a good touch). But I think that's because the ponies are what bring in their main crowd. One other thing this place has that other casinos don't is a colony of ferrel cats that hang out on one of the lawns

All dolled up for Christmas in the sky

As soon as I walked in the door, and played the first slot called Secrets of the Dragon by Aristocrat, I hit the jackpot of 1,984.

The DJ kept the energy high and did a great job mixing music that appealed to everyone, no matter their taste. That evening, we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Jack Binion's. Our server, Austine, was exceptional--attentive, friendly, and truly helped make the dining experience memorable. While Lady Luck wasn't exactly on our side this trip, we still managed to hit the jackpot when it came to customer service. Anya at the Promotions Desk went above and beyond, providing outstanding service with a smile and making us feel genuinely valued as guests. From relaxing poolside to great food and exceptional hospitality, Horseshoe Casino made for a memorable Father's Day celebration. We'll definitely be back--and maybe next time our luck at the slots will catch up to the level of service we received!

The casino floor itself is extremely small, but they had the most table games open on a Friday afternoon out of all of the other properties we checked out. Not too much luck here, and the dealers are pretty quiet/keep to themselves. Overall, I'd say this is a nice property!

Bathroom is large. Comes with a closed door for the toilet and an extra mirror with vanity and extra 1x mirror for your face. Great for plucking, makeup, all the things. Our water in the tub didn't drain well at all. We were in room 1810. Evening staff for checkout was very nice. Checked in late and were hungry. Java's Deli and Smokehouse were open late. We got it to go and went back upstairs. Great burgers at Smokehouse. My baby enjoyed his pizza from the deli. TV wasn't working well with the remote, but we figured it out and made it work. For the next event- a band I didn't know and don't remember- I was RIGHT UP FRONT. And the lead singer seemed to take a liking to my friend, so she got special attention. That was fun. For both events the beer was expensive, but not hard to come by. The ticket prices vary by venue but aren't unreasonable. I do recommend this venue if you really want to see 'that band ' .

This venue is located on the same compound, and directly adjacent to the BBQ pit, Silver Star Smokehouse & Saloon. It is in the rural realm of Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Dak Prescott's hometown of Haughton, but is still in Bossier City, right off Highway 80 in close proximity also to Harrah's Louisiana Downs horserace track and casino and hotels. The Bossier City Police Department maintains a friendly and welcoming, but heavy presence here during shows. The setup here is amphitheater-style, and actually makes for a quite enjoyable and intimate live music experience. We were situated primarily and relatively in the back of the house, as it were. We could see, and definitely hear the acts just fine. And though, it's the middle of the summer, thankfully, even with all the bodies in attendance, the stage lights, and other various lighting systems overhead, it never got too killin' hot. There are plenty of long beer tubs, iced down and adequately staffed around the area, making it very easy to grab an ice cold tall boy! There is also a two-sided, long bar in a tiny saloon close by, also adequately staffed to mix up your favorite batch of poison. There are beers-a-poppin', drinks being slung, and barbacks running every which way. The place is in motion, and running like a top. This is a solidly-run production. Parking is free, self-service, no valet, and there's plenty of it. There are three clearly-marked parking sections that distinctly go the distance from closest to The Stage, to furthest away. And in that order, they are as follows: Paved asphalt, then Gravel, and then lastly, the lawn (or grass). For Pat Green, last night's phenomenal performance, we parked in the outer reaches of the grass. (Pat Green? Grass?...Green? Grass? Buuuuaaaahahahahaha!!!...C'mon, people!!! Work with me here!!) But even if you park at a distance on the property, the walk is a pleasant and short one to the entrance. Ticket prices are agreeably kind to the ol' wallet, and I would gladly return for another event at this location!
