I am grateful I FINALLY got to visit the brick and mortar store of Aldaskeller here in the South…read moreWedge. I'm sure you either went to a pop up or two that they have done (yes I have) Followed them on social media or heard about them on the local news or however you get your local news. This is a WINE ONLY store kids and why it took longer was because of some weird issues with the state board. Now dear reader it's over, they finally opened and you for sure should visit. The owner Brandon a person who's passionate about sharing his love of Natural Wines with you and the fact his store which is stunning I might add, with his turn table and vinyl records going. Wants you to feel like your visiting his home and it's a relaxing home. Now your asking "What's a Natural Wine" here's the short answer: "Natural wine, then, is made from grapes not sprayed with pesticides or herbicides. Natural winemakers handpick their grapes instead of relying on machines to harvest them." Vox Some wines are clear other cloudy or unfiltered and it does not mean it's not a good wine. When you walk into this rather long narrow store you see how all the bottles are set up, the kind of lounge/sitting area on the right hand side of the store, the checkout/tasting area with music playing from a turn table. It's all lovely light woods, the wines are sitting out. Feel free to just walk around and DO NOT BE SCARED TO ASK QUESTIONS. That's the point not everyone has tried a natural wine or maybe you did and were like I'm not feeling it. Please add Natural Wine to your wine repertoire I know you will enjoy trying different grapes and from surprisingly odd off the beaten path areas of the world. I purchased a few the other day both I have never tried but liked the descriptions and the second bottle is from Lebanon and the description was just like WOW! The first wine is a red called Lune Pop it's a sparkling Zinfandel very cool. I'll supply photos of course. Check out there Instagram for more info. This is a great edition to the South Wedge and you need to pay them a visit. They have events, tastings and etc again check there SM. As always you know I'll give you the situation on parking. Either street or some local parking lots in the area. Go and support a great local business. I'll be back.

It paired perfectly with some chocolate for a fun at-home wine pairing with friends. The owner was so friendly and helpful and allowed us to try as many wines as we desired.
