I liked how they offered several salad options too, as I was missing having a big salad after traveling in Germany and Austria. Lastly, my favorite item here was actually their "Cremeschnitte" (cream sandwiched between phyllo dough); the cream was absolutely divine. Sometimes you get tricked.....by the first view..... To be true, the food was of very mediocre quality and the service was slow, slow, slow, slow. We came in around 5pm for an early dinner before our train back to Munich and was able to grab a table for 4. We got incredibly lucky because the restaurant really filled up and by the time we left, there was a long line down the block. Of course we had to have their Original Wiener Schnitzel, which was so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We also had a Salzburger Nockerl, which is a classic Austrian soufflé dessert that is considered a culinary symbol of Salzburg. You do have to order this about 20 minutes in advance, so we ordered it when we made our entree orders. This was really good and honestly, more than enough for our group of 4. I also highly recommend their house beer, which was one of the best beers I had during our 10 day trip.
