After another long day on the road, and in the hopes of watching the last half of the Mexico v USA match, we finally made it to this tranquil hamlet on the Sea of Cortez. What a relief it was to be greeted by the friendly staff. Seriously, they couldn't have been nicer.
We booked our room, settled into our casita, and made our way to the palapa bar and restaurant. Our waitress was fantastic, and after several days of drinking beer and Setenta, I asked for a vino tinto. Our awesome waitress brought over a nice bottle of Valle de Sol from Vinocola de Tecate and all was right with the world again. Love that nice gal.
Our casita was rather large and had cute curtains and mirrors. Those were nice touches! There wasn't a hairdryer in our room, but really, it wasn't a big deal. You're right on the sea, so the old mop is going to get messy anyway. I will say that it is way windy, so come prepared if you're a guy wearing a rug or a lady wearing a skirt. Just saying. Overall, relaxing place to stay and grab a meal. read more
