With an antique ice cream cart outside its doors, Los Valencianos reveals that it has old roots in AAvilés, having operated there in some form or other for some ninety years. The selection of ice ccreams is large. I've noticed that Spanish ice cream tastes tend to run toward the elaborate concoctions, such as the Tres Chocolates which features white, milk, and dark chocolate ice cream, or the Malaga ice cream with its sweet Malaga wine and raisins. They can also provide milkshakes, and have yogurts available.
The one quirk about them -- and this may hold for other Spanish ice cream parlors -- is that you order according to the size of your cone, and can choose no more than two flavors.
