Really good food and waitress was really friendly - wait time for food was horrible though. Came with a party of 9, and waited well over an hour for food. Great Authentic Mexican Food located in a fun old train depot. I have several favorites but the chicken chimmy is great, also the jumbo burrito is excellent. They do serve alcohol and Mexican beers. Stopped here last night for dinner. Seated fast, and our server was quick with our pitcher of margarita's. We had the standard frozen blend, and were somewhat disappointed with what seemed to be a artificial green mixture. Suggest asking for other options as 16.00 was not worth it. Our food was excellent, my jumbo burrito was seasoned nicely, and filled my empty stomach. My wife had the seafood chimi changa and loved it. I live in Denver and when I come home to Bronson at Christmas I like to make the trip to Los Tequilas for a lunch. This place has a fantastic atmosphere in the old rail building that makes it all the more delightful to enjoy great food. Prices are average, food is above, and the beer is cold. Best Mexican we've ever had! Food is always out fast, and is always nice and fresh and hot! Sometimes the chips seem a little overdone, but the salsa and queso make up for it. I tried the carnitas on my first visit and I was disappointed. The food was bland and the chunks were huge. I moved here from an area where I have eaten excellent, authentic Mexican food, this was bland food. My bf had the enchilada and he enjoyed it. I didn't try it, it was smothered in cheese. The salsa was good and so was my drink. The portions were a nice size. I will try them again but I will not try the carnitas. Update to follow. read more

7pm Thursday night. I was immediately taken to a table and waited on within a minute. I asked what the most popular menu items were and without hesitation was shown to meals. I forget the name of the first one but ordered the second one (Molcajete). Steak shrimp seasoned beef onions peppers and a few other things topped with a thin layer of cheese. It's enough for at least two meals for me. Don't wait time for a table was no, no wait time to order was very quick, I received my order in a reasonable time, the service was outstanding. Horrible. Chips were made with old oil which made everything taste burnt. Food was at best mediocre and was very inauthentic. When another customer had a question about the food they used Taco Bell as a comparison which should have been our first red flag. Do not order out. They can never get it right. I have been going to this restaurant for over two years, and in the past year, the service and food has gone down hill. The past three times I placed a take out order, they screwed it up. This last time was shockingly bad. I called in a take out order for 4 people. The woman who took my order was having a conversation with someone in front of her, so I asked her to read it back to me. It sounded correct. 20 minutes and $40 later I picked up the food for my waiting guests, and the #4 combo plate with chicken turned into a #4 kid's meal burger. I went back to get it straightened out. Instead of crediting me the amount of the wrong meal (like any other place on the planet would have done for screwing up) they wanted to CHARGE me the difference! They almost wouldn't let me leave until I paid. I ended up being able to leave with my #4 with chicken, but when I got home, it was all BEEF! I will NEVER go here again. They are incompetent and do not care about getting repeat business. read more

My favorite restaurant in the Coldwater area. My wife and I have eaten here well over 50 times. For starters, the service is excellent. Very speedy and attentive. Never have had a problem with my order or the service. I love the food - everything is very fresh and feels very authentic Mexican. The nachos and salsa they serve with every meal is delicious as well. The atmosphere - an old train depot set next to a still working railroad track - is really nice. The atmosphere of the old train station was very nice. We waited 15 minutes before any staff member would come to seat us. There were several people running around that would look our way but not stop to seat us. Once seated our waitress took our order right away. We waited 45 minutes for a quesadilla and fajita. The fajita was piping hot but the quesadilla was barely warm. Our waitress checked on us often , was very friendly but was obviously overworked being the only one in the dining room. Very disappointed. Treated rudely at start when 3 workers were interrupted of their talking to find table for 14. Our party ranged from 4-89 years old, 7 adults and 7 children. It Took a long time to get our drinks, even longer to get food. When I asked the cashier if they had any children coloring pages to help pass the time away, was told very curtly no and we don't even have blank paper to draw on. They'll have to just wait. When food was ready the adults were served their food first. Children should have been served first, after all they ordered easy chicken nuggets and fries. I ordered Fajita Pina. I was served first and my meal was lukewarm, not hot like a fajita should be served. 3 of us received our Mexican rice, lettuce, pico de gallo and sour cream after everyone else received their food. It should have been served same time as our meal. The Mexican rice was cold. One of our party returned 1/2 her order as it was cold. Waiter apologized but never offered to fix it. When time to pay, everything was on one ticket. We stood at cash register while waiter looked each item up in menu and printed out an adding machine tape of charges. Waiter then left went upstairs and brought male member of management down to run cash register. Each of the 5 adults paying, had to tell mgtmt what we ordered. He took the prices from the adding machine tape. We had to trust he was selecting the right price for each item. Very confusing, chaotic and poor business procedures. Unless they improve procedures when moving to new building we won't be back. read more
