Collard Greens

I stopped in before a show at the House of Blues. It was just me so I sat at the bar. All the seats were full. Ordered my food right after a couple next to me and their food came out after a little while. My food took 10 to 15 minutes longer. Now that happens but I think 30 mins is a bit long to wait for your food to come out. That said, the chicken was very good and I felt $16 was reasonable for what you got. I added a side of collard greens and, while they were fine, I wish that I could taste a bit more vinegar. If you are looking for a reasonable place to eat, with good atmosphere, right near Fenway Park, you could do a lot worse.

I was so amazed by the food here, went in expecting typical bar food but was pleasantly surprised when it came out! We came here on a weekday night in search of an easy dinner, and we were seated right away. The music was loud, but the atmosphere was welcoming and fun. It didn't seem too busy around 7PM either. After ordering, it did take a little bit of time before the food finally came out, but it all came out at once. The portions were larger than I expected, but I'm grateful for that! We especially loved the brussels sprouts slathered in sweetness and cooked to perfection. Their burger was also delicious and juicy, and I particularly loved the tater tots they paired with it, so crispy and crunchy!! My chicken and waffle was pretty good, I wish there was more butter/syrup (probably could've asked for this), but it was overall quite impressive. We certainly had extras for lunch the next day! Our server was also delightful and accomadating, I would definitely come back again!

Loretta's is super fun! It is a little bit weird to be there when it's just a restaurant but the food was actually good! The chicken sandwich was really great. The atmosphere is interesting in that it doesn't really look like it should be a restaurant but overall good.

If you're looking for a place with good eats, all around country vibes -- I'm talking everything from country music playing (both radio or live) to the entire wood interior, and a solid nightlife scene, Loretta's is your place. This was one of the top college bars back in my hay day and I can assure you that Loretta's delivers. I just went to a concert at the new MGM music hall across the street so we stopped by for a drink and food before it started. Worked out perfectly! We sat outside and could literally see the line build up while I munched on some steamy creamy Mac n cheese topped with some type of paprika spice. Never seen or really tasted anything like it before but hey I'm not complaining. New spin and new taste to my mac and cheese!! The fries were good but nothing special. No biggie. Fries are fries. I got the Front Porch Sweet Tea and it tasted like an elevated Peach flavored Snapple. Pretty good nice! They always have cool live bands playing here so in general would recommend coming here for food or a good time.

I want to be fair and I'm all about second chances, but not entirely sure I will take said chance here. I was out with a large group prior to Straight No Chaser concert at MGM Fenway next door. I see the allure of Loretta's location and probably if you're a beer drinker. Cocktails seem overly sweet and made from premade mixes. I've eaten plenty of pub fare and if you enjoy faux southern, it'll be fine for a quick bite. What doesn't happen to me often is getting sick in the middle of the night. I was the DD, so can't blame any booze. I was the only one who had the brisket sandwich. Did I burp through the entire concert? I did! Did I take a Pepto Bismal before bed? Yup! Do I usually do this after dining out? Never! The staff was lovely, servers were great, but imma have to stay away in the future. This place broke me.

Loretta is dog crap. They kicked me out without explanation (their explanation was that I was too drunk.) I'm sorry but this place is not even fun with music. You messed with the wrong guy and I hope we win week 5.

This is a cool place to go by Fenway for the vibes. I love the country bar thing and it all comes together really well. The drinks are all very good with some heavy pours. Service was kind of slow but it looked like they were understaffed for the day. Next time I will probably skip the food. When I went I got the chicken and waffles which looked great. But the waffle was ok ish and the syrup or sauce was way too bitter for my taste. But overall I would go back for drinks if I'm in the area, or going to a weekend Sox game.

Is Loretta's 21+?

During the day it is open to all, during friday and weekend evenings they have known to id check at the door, but not sure if that means only 21+, perhaps only in terms of selling alcohol to those who are id-ed

My mouth waters at the memory. They are decent sized and you get 4, plus a massive tower of also very good onion rings. The onion rings were good no complaints but after the sliders nothing was going to compare so I kind of forgot any opinions I had on them. Place was not super busy and our server Izzy was on it...she seated us immediately and took our drink and food orders. We finished by ordering the plate of sliders and by far, the best pub sliders I have ever had! Everything we ate was amazing. Izzy was energetic and never let our glasses go empty! I've walked past the Harpoon beer garden all the time and always thought it was worth checking out…read moreas a summertime post-work activity. As a non-beer drinker, all I can say is they have a number of Harpoon beers on tap, as well as a hard cider that I am fond of, and for sustenance, they have a taco truck that I kept seeing people carry away nachos from. The one downside is that it is super LOUD from the performance stage at one end of the seating area. I am begging whoever organizes the performances to turn down the mic just a little. At some point, the live performances switched to a DJ which made the volume a bit more tolerable but my watch was still picking up dangerous decibel levels. We grabbed a table that was the furthest from the stage and I was still hoarse at the end of the night from shouting at my friend across the table. They have some reserved/standing only tables closer to the beer/food at the other end that might be quieter but we came on a Thursday and of course everything was packed. If you're looking to have a semi-quiet conversation, definitely go elsewhere in the park. But this pop up is a good choice if you just want to hang with friends, drink beer, and eat tacos. If you need to use a restroom, pro tip to use the AMC across the street.

But our table was in the main bar off to the side, so it was chaotic but fun. I do wish it was more private but it was still fun, just loud. Our waitress was really nice and did well with our large party. Their menu is mostly apps and smaller plates, so if you're looking more for a large meal this is not your spot. I got the nashville hot mozzarella sticks which were actually pretty good, I liked the tomato relish they put on top and the ranch was really good. Dive Bar Diva was my cocktail which was pretty good. My friends seemed to like their drinks and bar bites. After dinner we went upstairs to the club and got to skip the line (thankfully). The line for the club wraps around the building down the street most nights, so we got lucky. Dance floor is upstairs and it's pretty small, just one room. There were two DJs that night, and the music was really good. Bar was fun, they handed out free chicken tenders at one point and were squirting shots into peoples mouths out of gatorade bottles. It was awesome. Bathroom line upstairs for women was crazy, only one bathroom and it took a long line. I suggest going downstairs... but at least you'll see the famous cheetah print walls! I will say trying to get in contact with the reservation staff was difficult but finally they answered after days of my friends and I trying.
