I have been a loyal customer of Andor for many years. Andor was my choice when I did my…read morekitchen, basement and bathroom remodels. I also contacted them to service my furnace and appliances when the need arose. That has changed. I contacted Andor for an estimate on a new HVAC system. Paul Taecker came on September 28th. Immediately, I felt that he didn't want to be doing this. He talked down to me as he took measurements and even commented on an apple tree that my neighbors needed to prune. He provided zero information on proposed systems. Instead just complained. He was done within 15 minutes. I asked when I would receive an estimate and he replied "next day". As of today (October 13th) I have received nothing. I even checked my junk file and nothing. I will never return which I don't think will bother this business.. I am just wondering what happened to Andor's customer service. I will say Active Heating gave me a thorough explanation of the proposed system. The installers were amazing. Shame on Andor

I contacted Perrys Electric about installing a mini split system in my house. They came to look at…read moremy property, we come up with a basic plan and they gave me a quote. Once I accepted their quote they were able to order the equipment and start the install. The equipment took about two weeks to arrive and they were able to start the installation process right away. The overall time it took them to install the mini split system, which consisted of the outdoor unit and three indoor units, was three days. I was very surprised at how quick the equipment came in and how fast they were able to get it installed. The quality of the installation was excellent and they were able to run and install everything the way I envisioned. They also cleaned up very well after themselves. All the technicians were very knowledgeable about the system and were able to answer any questions that I asked them. The only negative thing I have to say about them is that they were not the best at keeping the customer up to date or giving them information about the system without the customer having to ask for it themselves. The negative comment is a personal one that I felt, but might not matter for other customers. I am just a person that likes to know what is going on and how to take care of proper maintenance tasks, so I am always asking questions. As long as the customer comes up with all questions beforehand to ask them about the system, then there will be no issue at all as they are extremely knowledgeable about their work. Overall I would give them 4.5 stars due to the lack of information given to me without having to ask for it. Going off of their installation alone gives them 5 stars and I would recommend them to anyone.
