I rarely if ever leave a one star review, however for this I feel it is warranted…read more Starting with my first appointment: I arrived on time yet waited in the waiting room for over an hour. I then approached the receptionist and asked how much longer it would be. I was told that there had been an emergency and she was unsure. I requested to reschedule. I return for my rescheduled appointment and was almost certain that the tooth in question could not be saved. There was a visible crack in the tooth (shown on X-ray) and the pain and sensitivity identical to the tooth that I had lost next to it. They did a scan which confirmed what I already knew. The quick scan cost over $400. Last Saturday (four months later) I receive a bill from them requesting an additional payment. I asked before I committed to the scan, what my *exact cost would be. They gave me a price, I paid it. I have called their office every day for the last three days. I continue to be assured that I will receive a callback from their billing department. This still hasn't happened. My experience as a whole with this office has not been favorable. Not customer savvy or considerate. I can NOT recommend Pacific Endodontics in any capacity.

The two women I spoke with were kind and pleasant. The quoted price, however, was so far beyond my financial reach it was crazy. I was quoted a "Ballpark" figure of $2,500.00! Yep, two thousand five hundred dollars. From other reviews, I am not alone. Here's an afterthought: Once a person has retired after working for years, why not think of suicide? Living until you're older is extremely costly, but your body begins to fall apart. Golden years, my backside! It isn't golden, it is rust, oxidation. Not only does one have to deal with the problems of being old, but it is also too expensive even to live. Oh, and I took care of my teeth because I grind and have slowly broken teeth.

I love that as parents we can be right there every step of they way, which was not our experience at another establishment. They respect requests made by the parent. Today we had Olivia and Daphne helping us out (had 2 kids at the same time/appointment) and was very pleased with their attentiveness!

We went back to happy kids to see what the issue was, the dentist looked at it for one minute and said we needed to go to an endodontist as he may need a root canal and he can't do anything with a permanent tooth. We pay out of pocket and have paid happy kids almost $2000 at this point. Weeks later of my son being in pain we finally see the endodontist who says the tooth is alive and we need to go back to Happy Kids to resolve the issue. This time we see another dentist at Happy Kids who can tell the tooth is alive and gives us antibiotics to treat the POSSIBLE issue. It has been almost 2 months between the first appointment and this last appointment. It has been months of my son being in pain, going back and forth between dentists, additional money out of pocket when this could have been resolved if the dentist took the time on our visit in January. Edit: the antibiotics did not work and my son is still in pain.
