The lever on my front door was sticky, making the door difficult to open. I was checking out locksmith reviews at night, hoping to get a response for an estimate the next day. Nick responded to my estimate request within ten minutes. When I was ready to book my appointment, my preferred appointment time was available, and he arrived right on time. He was quick to diagnose the problem and fix it, and he showed me how to oil my locks to prevent this problem from happening in the future. He was friendly and fun to talk to. His pricing was reasonable. I was initially nervous about having someone enter my home during a pandemic, but Nick had to to do his job, and I felt safe and at ease. He wore a mask and practiced social distancing, and he cleaned up the inside and outside doorknobs and locks for me. So I was just the weekend flat rate twice and paid $255.00 for fixing a lock that was not broken before he came. He was rushing so much that pin broke. He came back yesterday to show how to fix it unfortunately the pin inside either broke or went missing so he had to come back today to fix what he broke and I got charged a bunch of money for his screw up! I was quoted half of what this company charges and I should have waited but he responded first. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE RIP OFFS! I should have only been charged the new knob he had to buy not his weekend flat rate! 255.00 for one lock?! RIP OFF! His response sucks! He has a mini so he cannot keep equipment in his car. How is this my fault when you don't the tools required to the job/jobs? DO NOT HIRE RIP OFF! I should have not been charged your flat rate for your screw up! My knob was not broken before you rekeyed it! Take responsibility for over charging! You should give me back all but the cost of the knob! Oh and maybe buy a van so you can actually have all of the stuff you need to do a job without worrying if you can fit it in your mini or not. read more

Our 100 year old house has door locks that are equally old. They were in desperate need of replacing but I didn't want to lose the antique look of the old hardware.
