YOU DESERVE SO MUCH MORE!...I locked myself out of my house and stood in the cold from 4:30am til about 5am FREEZING in 45 degree LA weather before finding the MOST AMAZING SOUL AND LOCKSMITH EVER! I PRAISE GOD FOR YOU! PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE STORY! When I walked out my house and all the way to my car door to leave before i realized, I HAD NO KEYS! Ugh! Hurried back to my front door praying that I also forgot to lock the door ‍. NOPE, I remembered to do that! Lol. Welp I immediately searched through Yelp for 24/7 locksmiths and a plethora of them popped up. I called the 1st one since they weren't far from me, he literally scolded and yelled at me expressing his frustration with me for it being 5am, and just eventually hung up because I was emotional enough! I called 3 other companies who didn't answer and then a 4th company who wanted to charge me $200!!!! No way! I hung up, called my Bf in Boston, Ma to send me extra funds cause at that point i felt $200 guy was my only hope. He was annoyed, but got up went to the bank and sent me the money. I then received a CashApp alert from my business partner whom I had texted during this fiasco (i was on my way to meet her at our nutrition club) to help me out! God is so GOOD! Anyway, before calling the $200 company back, I PRAYED and asked God to help me find someone else who was more affordable and kind and fast because did I mention, I WAS FREEZING . I scrolled a lil more on Yelp and found Nicks company- Long Beach Locksmith and gave him a call. 1st OFF, can we just acknowledge his charming ENGLISH ACCENT??!! YES! So I went on to tell him my situation and although I wasn't in his main area of work, he quoted me almost $85 less than Previous company, said no problem let me get things ready and IM ON THE WAY! I sobbed so hard of gratitude and relief! He was there in less than 30mins, wearing a mask and gloves and with the warmest and sure confidence that he'd get me back in my home! Did I mentionI was FREEZING !!! Nick noticed and immediately offered me his jacket (Hold up, AND chivalrous!!!?? YES LORD!) I of course noticed he had on shorts and although he was super serious and concerned about me shivering, I couldn't let us both freeze so I declined. We accidentally locked ourselves out of our apartment and called him at about 7am, and he responded quickly and was very friendly. He gave us a time that he would arrive and called us on his way to let us know he was running a little behind (only a few minutes) which was nice that he kept us updated. When he got here he was super friendly, worked very quick and made the whole situation painless. I have an old Jeep Wrangler with 2 lock boxes built in that I no longer have the key for. I was able to send Nick the pictures and he came over within a few minutes to work on them.
