Just moving in to new home and got locked out and my furniture was coming. Nick saved the day - within an hour of my call. Not only did he get me into that door but he rekeyed all the locks in the house - also showing me how to use them. How lucky is that since i would have had to have them all rekeyed anyway. Nick was very professional and very nice. Best locksmith and a fellow Brit. I'm happy to announce that after living in America for 20 years I've found the perfect locksmith. Excellent service! Nick showed up right on time for a mailbox key issue in a multi unit apartment complex. He took care of them quickly and efficiently. Then we happened to need an apartment door and gate to be rekeyed. We sprung this on him, but Nick was ready. He has all his supplies with him, opened the door that we didn't have keys too anymore and then rekeyed multiple locks. Gave us as many keys as we'd like right then and there! Nick is THE man to call if you need a locksmith. He installed my beautiful new electronic lock as well as rekey 5 locks. I called several companies in the area and they were basically all the same price but Nick was clearly the kindest and took the time to answer my questions. I'm SO glad I hired him for the job, he showed up on time, was beyond friendly and delivered professional service and several laughs. My friends front door lock had been useable for awhile so I took matters into my own hands & searched Yelp. Long Beach Locksmith looked promising so I called & Nick answered ( still surprises me when I actually get a real live person on the phone). He was able to come by that afternoon. The old broken lock was a bit challenging but he kept at it & the front door now has a functioning lock! He also ended up replacing another door lock outside. Nick did a fantastic job when I got locked out of my home office! Polite, personable, responsive and skilled, and the fee was reasonable. Nick even spent time afterward showing me how to unlock another door in my house if I got locked out of that one in the future, and waited patiently as I got the hang of it with his tools. Highly recommend LB locksmith! I arrived home late on a Sunday night with my 3 sleepy kids and my key broke my already fickle front door lock... ugh! It just spun in a circle. Called a few places but felt nervous since I was alone with my kids. LB locksmith was so kind. I liked that he asked me a few questions first and I sent him some photos of the type of lock before I gave him my address. He came out right away and had in the house 20 mins later. If I could give 10 stars I would. My home came with an old Baldwin mortise lock that I needed the cylinder and trim replaced. But also the lock itself started acting up. Nick was able to fix my lock saving me a couple of hundred dollars to replace it. It wasn't easy but he was so patient and got the job done. He spent about 2 hours but the whole time he was so nice and pleasant and did not once show any frustration. I would 100% recommend him to anyone I knew and if I ever need locksmith services again he is the only one I will call! read more

He explained and showed me that it will be very difficult to remove this lever for someone that isn't familiar with it. Sure enough, the next night, I saw that the lever was tampered with because the former employee tried to remove or rekey it but was unsuccessful. He went out out his way to get parts to complete the job that morning. He even canceled his next appointment to accommodate my need. He goes above and beyond to get the job done right and delivers great quality. I hired him to replace the door knobs, door arms, locks, etc. at two of my other properties and he did an amazing job. To my surprise, I found out that he gave me a DO NOT DUPLICATE key which was perfect so the tenant can't make a duplicate for the former employee. My front door lock totally died (seized) and would not function. Found LB Locksmiths on YELP. Was able to reach owner, Nick, immediately that evening. Asked for photos of my existing deadbolt and door knob lock and he found a matching door knob and installed it next morning. He also cleaned out and oiled deadbolt, coded keys so they matched, and fixed a problem with another deadbolt, including cleaning it out, that I hadn't called about plus he matched front door key to another lock also something I hadn't called about. His fee was more than reasonable. He didn't rush and took time to do things right. Plus he was fun to talk to. I rarely write reviews but Nick is definitely worth it. I was having trouble installing an Andersen door lock trim set (found out it's because their a custom E-series) and Nick offered to help me over the phone. Nick was amazing! I bought a new house and needed three doors rekeyed. I called and Nick was here thirty minutes later. He did a great job on all of my locks and gave me a few laughs while he did it. He even put a new cylinder on my very old front door for an extremely reasonable price and gave me extra keys. Our locks at our office where acting up and not working properly. We called and got an appointment right away. Nick arrived and went right to work on all three of our doors.
